From small I was educated that life is the most important things. There is nothing that can be more valuable that one life as it was gift from god and no one would take it away except god.
In today environment, life seem to be very cheap. Day by day, we saw people dying in vain. Day by day we saw animal been torture. Day by day, we saw accident taking life unpredictably.
I saw a clip on youtube of how a gal involve in accident, manage to call back the family while waiting for ambulances but she die before the ambulance arrive. The reason being the ambulances come too late.
When i was small, i like to torture animal. I like to scope the fish in the aquarium using the net and see them struggle for water and put them back...Repeat for few times just for the fun of it. When i grow up, I know my action was so cruel, so naive and so childish.
Since then i have change a lot. Start from joining red crescent team and then st john ambulance. When I was in university, i donate blood, do charity work besides from actively criticising animal cruelty. When i start to work and have extra money, i adopt a kid from world vision. I do that because i understand that life is priceless.
I am very sad when i saw people commit suicide. I don't see the rational of them doing that. To me, it bring more trouble to their loves one.
I am very sad looking at animal been tortured. People buy good dog for play and fun. When it was a puppy, the love them because they are cute. When it get older and sick, the owner will just dump it away. I am extremely sad looking at the irresponsible people throwing away dogs especially those happen in Pulau Ketam where they left the dog at inhabited island.
I am sad to look at youngster do not appreciate life by speeding on the road and acting to be macho and end up in accident. I am sad to see heavy smoker ignoring their life. I am sad to see alcoholic risking their organs with poison drink. I am more sad looking at naive people entering into drug addiction.
Life is really priceless. One person only have 1 opportunity to live in the world and thus we need to appreciate it. Some say, because it was a one opportunity, I might as well try everything even drugs. Well, that is individual judgement, but bare in mind, the impact and the future of your life.
Appreciate life before it is too late. Think before you do everything because life is priceless....
