Yeah...A day that we are waiting for...A day to remember...
Despite my hectic schedule, I manage to make myself free for a day for my historical moments. Is my first ever tertiary level graduation ceremony.
Although I have bad week ahead which really spoil my mood, today, my mood was turn back to happy mode as I can see all my friends back and take picture with them. Today is the day we all gather, celebrating the success of our struggling, celebrating our parent commitment to us, celebrating our university academic team and management team that make us from zero to hero...
I was surprise with my parent and sister preparation for my convo. They bought flower for me although it wasn't the flower i dream to hold for my convo...But thatw as really truely a sincere gift and I really appreciate it.

5 "great" event to heat my Convo
It had been a hard week. Since last two weeks, when I was informed about my work in Klang, I have a very heavy heart. Is not about leaving KL for sure but I feel something not going right here and there. It was true…something is not right…Unexpectedly
On Friday, things turn out to be more than misunderstanding and I end up working late, far and isolated from where I was expected to work…I am fine with that but what turn out to be a disaster is a camera flash from a traffic light. What is that mean? A saman I guess…
Sunday, my last day in KL before I depart to Port Klang and things wasn’t that correct either. By noon, I realize I lost my handphone and it turn out more horrible as I already mistakenly throw my pant with my beloved phone in it…Ok…it turn out my phone look like a fish just been catch from the river….Lolx…But it still operating nicely…Thanks god
It was so soon that I realized is Monday. I didn’t pack my luggage until midnight as I still sense something bad for this work…I try my very best to forgone my inner feeling. I know I have small six sense of predicting what might happen…True enough, my car plate drop at the highway at NKVE. What I can do is look and smile while saying goodbye to my car plate…
Tuesday turn out to be fine as day is full of work. On way back, I was hoping to have a nice sleep afterward. Things always happen differently from what I predicted. I sense something not right again although I try to hide. True enough again…This time a panic, chaotic, and scary event happen…My car tire is burning….Yeah…Burning…
While things are getting to heat up, Wednesday night turn into black night after I notice my camera was infected by virus from Nicholas computer....I have to reformat my whole camera...lolx...I am so scare that I can take photo for my convo on saturday...
That how my week goes. Who the hell is making fun of me using voodoo doll with my name on…Shit…Never been so bad luck in a row for yearssssssssssss….Things is so not “lucky” nowadays I guess………

Competition Create Business
Yesterday, I was working until late night in somewhere near Subang Airport, the national main aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul centre (MRO). On the way back, I see how badly Subang Airport had turn out after the new KLIA had take on the operation of Subang Airport. Besides from the controversial Transmile Warehouse and some MAS building nearby, Subang Airport now looks like a piece of unwanted land. How sadly!!
Apart of busy schedule, I still have some free time to chuck in some reading, which I had been committed this year to increase my knowledge. I am a choosy person when come to reading books as I am not a book worms…So last week I end up buying books that got related to my idol, Tony Fernandes.
He was rank 2nd on my Idol Chart; second after the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong and a head above the late Tan Sri Loh Boon Siew. Tony use to be an auditor where he find audit is not his life (duh….I also feel so…) and he move on to Virgin Television and then music industry where he climb up the corporate ladder so fast that he was in the position of Vice President of Warner of South East Asia. But what interest me was, how come a person with ACCA, huge salary with stable work would dare to take so much risk by operating a low cost carrier, first in Malaysia and maybe in Asian…AirAsia success was an incredible story. As we know, AirAsia had always been competing with MAS, the baby of our government which always cause AirAsia struggling with unfair competition. But what we had see today, the Red Giant had not just stop growing but making sure people who had never fly, choose to Fly with them….what else can I say? Now everyone can fly…Malaysia Boleh, AirAsia Boleh…
No one success without scarify of time and effort. But what make people more successful is person who dare to take risk, taming those dangerous and turn it into opportunity. Erhemm….I can proudly quote what Tun Dr Ling said again…wakaka… “Crisis in mandarin (wei chi) is form from 2 words which is danger (wei sian) and opportunity (chi huew) and we must always juggle crisis from danger to opportunity.”
It was a struggle for those leaders for previous era to be successful. People like the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong and the late Tan Dri Loh Boon Siew did not born to be rich but what they have is a struggle to life in this competitive world…The story of how the late Tan Sri Loh Boon Siew arriving Malaya from China with only supplier of 3 dry biscuit (mind you…the boat from mainland of China to Malaya is 7 days) and changing his life to be the sole Honda Motor. On the other hand, I believe everyone know how Tan Sri Ling Goh Tong survive a hard life from China to Malaysia, and knowing only Hokkien can turn a virgin hill to be the number one hilltop entertainment city in Malaysia. It really inspires me and whenever I feel want to give up; their story had always encouraged me keeping on struggle, to move on with life…
Here come the Business Idol ranking (judge: Eddie Lim..)
1. The Late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, founder of Genting berhad
2. Datuk Tony Fernendes, founder of AirAsia
3. The Late Tan Sri Loh Boon Siew, founder of Boon Siew Honda

Goodbye
This post is a reply for Blogpost of Nicholas,Goodbye...
It was totally a sad case that I have to bid farewell to my room at Condo Bayu Tasik. My stay here was such a short period merely less than 3 months and now 1"good" news had transfer me to another new home at Crystal Crown Hotel. Yes...I am not lying... I am going to stay 2 - 3 months in that hotel during my most intense, most stressful audit that I might had handle.
Yesterday meeting handle by one of our new staff from Hong Kong was one of the most scary meeting I ever had. Been the youngest in the team and holding a active, average large company, and main subsidiary of PLC, it may sound too difficult to be handle by someone who just graduate few months ago. I really appreciate all knowledge and experience I gain from my seniors who had taught me within this 3 months. As time goes, more responsibility as well as power is going to handle down to us, the new comers...
One by one jobs keep on pouring in although some had not yet been finalize. Currently I got 3 profile on my hand and 2 are in finalizing stage and another is just on the progress.
3 months from now, I believe I will be different people. I might not be wiser, clever or more talented but I might end up skinny due to improper meal....or I might also end up become fat due to good food in Klang. Been home but unable to stay in house sound a bit sad in deed...It was a torture...A silent killer that attack the mind...haha
How am I going to survive...I have strict senior, too good...damm good which scare me every second...This is so near to say goodbye this time....Just too fast...
To Nicholas, don't be sad..I gonna come back very soon...It was 3 months...Life as auditor is unexpected...Really unexpected...I dream to audit PLC and now it was the best time to experience it but it just feel so weird...We have a dedicated team this time. After meeting, 2 of the staff who have convocation next month had cancel their leave application and for me, I change my leave application and was now still pending status. So many thing will change within this 3 months....I swear...It will be the toughest time for me...the most challenging time...But I gonna survive...I will excel...I will be back after 3 months...
So long.....My blog will be temporarily inactive...I believe I gonna update once a fortnight or so...So long my dearest reader, and friends...Don't miss me...

Today and day after today
Today mark the last weekend in KL for me before I leave KL for a long work in my hometown, Klang. It was totally happy yet sad news when I get to know that I am going to audit in 2 PLC in Klang which will take 3 month to complete the whole final audit. Too happy because at last I can have experience to audit PLC from head to toe and experience both interim and final audit on the same time but the sad case is, it was not fall on a good timing. It was so near to my convocation and I believe KL will be a gathering for all friends but I will be rushing here and there during the convo preparation period.
Today, I spend the last weekend here in education fair and bukit bintang area. The education fair is suck as only a few institutions came and have their booth...A bit disappointed with this education fair… The rest of the day, walk and buy stuff…Sunday night again and it was time to iron shirt, prepare for the rest of coming weekdays and so on…So tiring!
Speaking about next week, it will be an unpredictable week. After 24th March, my life will change drastically. I will be in Klang for 3 months and I will lost my KL life beside putting away my new room in Sri Permaisuri. Things will be totally change if I gonna stay in Klang while I was working there…The worst thing is, the place I work will be too near yet too far…I can pass by my area but I might not have the chance to stay at house. Now, my manager is still thinking whether we want to stay in client hostel or normal hotel. After 3 months, my life will change again. This time is from bad to worst. I am going to risk myself for going after 2 papers part time in ACCA while focusing in my work. Things will be different by then and again, I need to adapt to this changes as fast as possible. I am gambling with my hard earn money, my precious time and my priceless energy.
Life as auditor is all about changing according to situation and adapts new lifestyle with new environment. Things had been changing like weather nowadays. Sometime is so free and sometime I can even think of proper dinner anymore. I already experience the true meaning of audit. Of cause what I experience is far better than my friend who is working in much more bigger firm as they work day and night 24/7 during peak period.
Money again starts killing me when I start thinking of July. Expenses will be higher by then when tuition fees will start pouring in like water. I believe with government ‘efficient’ work, I could not escape from my repayment of study loan that I took years ago and also my soon to come dream…Increment is the only help that can finance my expenses now so I do hope increment will came in as fast as possible…
I already start abandon my 2008 resolution. Although I successfully cutting down 7kg in 2 months but my body line still so fat!! Today go buy books just to fulfill my resolution of reading at least 3 books per year which I really doubt whether I really got time for it or not and talking about going for gym or swimming, I could only said that “I don’t even got time to shit, no time to even pass by the swimming pool, you think I got time to change to my swimming trunk and jump into the pool?”…So I keep my finger crossing hoping that my resolution can still be fulfill. Just waiting time to find back my real self…hehe…
That all from now...Live life to the fullness, find happiness in you, avoid conflict, and increase productivity. Be Happy and Less Worry…Peace

Chaos
A week after election, we are still trap in the heavy news full of hot agenda from various party. There are so many states that had problem with forming their own cabinet and state government. Story of boycott, street protesting, calling for leader to resign, swearing in of chief minister, intervene by state ruler and new cabinet announcement can be read from all newspaper, online news and blogs. Undeniable, this year general election had create chaos to the politic arena and make those politician awake that the voter are the king and not the government. The government is the one who should please the rakyat not the rakyat pleasing the government.
The voter have give mandate to both BN and opposition this year and I believe if both cooperating well, they will be a good changes for Malaysia. But till today, what we see is chaos. No cooperative from any party yet…Disappointed…But I believe, time will prove it…
What the news about state government destroying document? What happen dude? Why should they destroy it? Any fishy things inside? Just like Enron case lol…
This few days I passby some important road in KL…I saw a lot of words ABU…thought that someone is trying to make fun with the person call ABU….only then I notice the meaning behind ABU yesterday when I saw the DBKL try to wash away those wording…ABU is asalkan bukan UMNO….= = “
Whatever it is…The voter had spoken, the result had proven….Let work together for Malaysia not Malaysia work for us….Remember...you contest, voter decide, we hope, we want result…Malaysia! You Boleh!!!
Oh ya…please send someone to take off those posters…it look like rubbish nowadays…!! I saw a flag drop to a car and the driver almost accident when the flag drop on his car which block his view…

Wow...What a shock!
After days of shock in the nation, immediately the result of election been announce, at last we manage to get away from all non-politic news...So what happen this few days...Just to summarize some nice event...
Bursa index drop after the post-election shock, Sabah and Sarawak flood, Firefly offer free seat to compete with AirAsia, Zakaria Die, My idol (Ong Beng Hee) won Malaysian open....oooo....ooohh wait...Zakaria Die? Which Zakaria?
Zakaria the ex-Pelabuhan Klang MP die...I wonder why? Here is the partial report from www.TheStar.com.my
"His mansion has 21 bathrooms and 16 bedrooms, including 11 that are occupied by each of his children, as well as a VIP room, three living rooms, a dining hall and a prayer room.
The house also has a swimming pool, several gazebos, an orchard, a two-hole golf lawn, an office, a storeroom, two rooms for maids as well as a wet kitchen and a dry kitchen."
Haiz...Sad case...after building a mansion but no chance to enjoy it...Sad...
OK....better dun touch sensitive issue or I will be kill again...
So this week, I work in Hospital...(most expensive in KL)...Saw lot of patient but they didn't look sick...After knowing how much was the 'REAL TREATMENT' price for chemotherapy for cancer people, what I can said is "Please do take care of yourself and live in healthy life"
I wanted to take photo of the filing room as what I always do in most of the company but because the room was beside the operation room, I choose not to do that because it was a hospital...Have to respect that place...I also scare, the photo I take will contain something else...errr....scary...
Till next time, i shall be relaxing for the remaining hours of the day after a whole day of 'shock' events...

After 2nd Jan
Life had completely changed after this date…2nd Jan 2008…
Changing from student apartment of high end Sg Long to a low end Bandar Sri Permaisuri was one of the disasters! I had move from a huge condo (1790 square feet) to a small condo (920 square feet)…Changing my room was not the worst part but changing roommate was a real disaster…After a one month honey moon alone in the room, at last my roommate is back. Of course it will be a bit weird at first time to have a new roommate although we know each other for almost 3 years.
My previous roommate Mr Kan ZQ, aka ‘mightman’ was one of the best roommate I can ever find. Being a lazy pig, he will always be the one who wake me up, rush me to go to university, my food advisor (always ask me eat nutritious food so I can be as slim as him) and of course give me lot of help…My current roommate, Mr Nicholas Chen, aka ‘ah gong’ was totally a reverse of Mr Kan. Of course he wake up early to wake me up but even he wake up early, I always go to office earlier than him!! He also take over the food advisor position from Mr Kan by advising me where to eat good food…And when I said ‘Good Food’ I mean real good food that can cause me to bankruptcy. Could you imagine he already give hint where to eat for the next weekend when we just started our very first Monday! Of course his size was also triple of Mr Kan la…wahaha…

Mr Nicholas and me
Mr Mighty and me...**I wasn't that fat, the wind just blow my shirt!!!
But I quite pity Nicholas because since the first day he moves in, I had started to bully him every second every minute. But one thing I can surely comfirm, he is not as obedient as Mr Kan…wakaka…
Let me give you a scenario:
Scene 1:-
Mr Nic is opening the refrigerator and taking my green apple and start to bite it…
Eddie: Hey Nic, mind take one apple for me also, Thanks
Nic : Ok…(close the refrigerator door and walk toward me)…I eat your last apple!!!
Scene 2"-
Mr Kan was near the refrigerator to take his own fruit
Kan: Hey Eddie, want to take your fruit. You still have a lot inside the fridge
Eddie: Ok...Thanks
So you see the different? Even I say I bully him, but reality I been tortured by him…wakaka…Not forgetting how he make the room stink like there is hundred of rat just come into the room….wakaka…He always ask me to cook for him also…So our main topic in the house when he is around will surely be FOOD…non other than FOOD..
Haha..Nick, don’t angry by this post because I know you won’t as you are sitting beside me seeing me tying this blog…wakaka…Mr Kan, thanks for being my best roommate for my whole life…
2nd things that change a lot is of course the allocation of time and lifestyle. If in the university, I wake up according to the schedule of my class. Sometime my class even started as late as 1pm so I have no worries of what time to wake up…But now my alarm clock had become the most essential item for me…Imagine 2 alarm clock with 5 alarm setting from my handphone, I still cannot wake up…I think I shall call myself ‘Boring Pig’ rather than ‘Boring Panda’

My alarm clocks
My life now is no longer full with task such as organizing event, calling HR to get sponsorship, go networking session and socialize. I should say my life now had become silent. Sometime I even think I had become anti social…hehe… My life now is a bout FILES, not one or two but LOTSA FILESssssssss…

Lot of files??

This is how I work if I am stress up...wakaka...

Files for a company that just relocate!!!
Whenever I am in UTAR, I don’t really have my breakfast but for now, I really need to eat breakfast so I can maintain my stomach from getting empty. Workload can be a lot until I forgot the time…But luckily almost everyday I can have my lunch at 12.30noon but dinner was totally unpredictable.

My best breakfast if I can wake up at 6am...wakaka...Prepare myself..Unhealthy breakfast
One thing that I cannot deny after I start working is the responsibility toward your family. Everyone knows that I rarely when back my house and have a proper meal with my parent. Not because I am not good with my family but it was really a hectic life to travel back every week. One thing, no matter you are staying or not with your family, we cannot escape the responsibility to repay back their ‘finance’ support. We have to start give some household fund to our parent and that was a responsibility even they didn’t ask for it. Money become main issue and even small amount we start to calculate.
My mood to study had drop since the first day of work. I could not wonder how am I going to go through my last 5 ACCA paper. Being an ACCA representative in my uni for 2 years, it was totally a sad thing that I have to admit, I have no 100% to clear my ACCA paper in first attempt.
Things had change to much and yet I need to adopt in such a short period. Sometime, the feeling just get so down that I cannot resist but to listen to sad song and listen until I sleep. Life is so busy that I nearly forgot I have my own blog. Life is so busy that I had no time to take lot of photo that I wanted to. Time just pass without I notice it.
In such a short 2 month period, I also saw many people leaving audit field because of the hectic lifestyle. I also could think, how long I can stay, how long I can strike my best. One things I hate my life the most is lot of my friends keep on said my worst decision is to reject Big4 offer and to take up BDO. I never regret! Never regret although for so many time, I almost open Microsoft Office to type my resignation letter. But I never…Because if I did, I am not EDDIE LIM YONG JOO!!! I have been taking risk in my life and I should not be dying just because of few words from them. Because BDO is just too good for me to leave. Nevertheless, thanks to all other who offer me job especially EY (Christine and Soo Fern)…I was torn apart between EY and BDO until today…I just hope I can split my heart and soul to this 2 company. Not forgetting HR from Deloitte, KPMG and PWC that called me despite I already in BDO. My biggest regret was not coming to BDO but unable to serve in so many of this good company. I never think that we should be rival but more to partnership so I do hope all Big 5 will continue to grow!!
OK…how come my blog getting so emotional pulak….Ok ok…Let go back to my life… Oh ya…last thing that I never reveal…I get myself a 5 cent air ticket to Phuket at end of October. I gonna risk my career this time to see whether the firm approve or not…I believe if I gonna work everyday without proper holiday I might get old very very fast…So that what I want to write…Basically I don’t have interesting things to post because I missed a lot of events so I just simply type something to make this blog more lifely…wahaha…see ya..
Mr Nicholas and me
But I quite pity Nicholas because since the first day he moves in, I had started to bully him every second every minute.

OMG!!
After been suggested to take this 'face recognition', damm i m so surprise...I have gals look...I always said that Bae Yong-Jun have gals face, rupa-rupanya my face also look like gals...OMG!!! By the way, Although my name same with Bae Yong-Jun, I am not Korean...People have said I am Korean since my name same with him...OMG!!
Nak Tak? Nak Nak...Saya Nak
We have saw so many campain, poster, ceremah, banner, and newspaper advertisement of how those parties in the election try to win the heart of the citizen...haha..and of course, the event that come only once in four or five years will see more and more debate, news coverage and also more rubbish in the town... After a few days of continuos raining in KL, there is lot of poster that already spoil, tear down and some even look like soaked tissue all over the place. People steeping on the nominees face, the parties logo and some even already ended up in landfills...
Opposition focus on what the Barisan National had done badly in last 50 years since they don't have chance to develop the country for 50 years and Barisan National focus on what the country had change in 50 years. For me, what we have in this 50 years, would not be just the contribution of 1 party, but the whole nation and citizen, so I believe there is nothing to be proud off by them...So focus on what you already promise because I personally never see much promise been fulfill...
So what we all as voter, citizen, or the RAKYAT want? Here is my hope...hehe
1. A better economic and lower inflation
Despite what the current government had done to 'tame' the inflation, but the price of good are going higher and high as fast as the 'rocket'...The increase of price is Ok if the the price of salary increase but the current increment was a bit too much to be bear as compare to the increment in salary. Good comparison of price that I saw in advertisement...But why not compare petrol price with Brunei? or price of curry laksa in Malaysia with Singapore?
2. A better education system
Current 'free' education system was one of the greatest idea. But the system can always be polish as our system nowadays are still very bias. Those who suppose to get places in universities should always be given a chances. Of course, the system meritocracy is good way to reduce gap in Malaysia but if placing people in just to fulfill this requirement, it will reduce the student motivation to study and on the same time might also causes the unemployment rate in Malaysia to increase. Let the student choose for their future and together we grow with them
3. A better infrastructure
Tax is meant for rakyat to enjoy the development of the country. We are more than proud to have world class airport, the 2nd tallest building cum the world number one tallest twin tower, World recognize F1 circuit, and thosand of proud landmark but don't us forget the hole, bumpy, slippery and massive traffic jam roads. The failure of proper planning and successful public transport can be the best reason to relate to the massive jam in KL. Public transport in Puchong, Summit USJ, Kinrara, Damansara, Shah Alam, Klang, Petaling Jaya and KL itself is in bad condition. Punctuality of the public transport can be said as punctual as 'Malaysian time'. Of course our country is bigger than Singapore so we cannot compare our system with them, but how about compare with Korea, Japan and Australia?
4. A MP that represent the Rakyat and not represent their own motive.
If a MP is good, responsible and able to work for the rakyat, I trust they can earn enough money for themselves. I won't blame them for having a palace because I also dream of having one. Remember, you represent the Rakyat so voice for the rakyat in Parliament and not fighting between each other. Parliament is symbol of democracy not a cock fighting ring for chicken to fight!
5. A better channel for Rakyat to voice
If demonstrating was bad as channel of voicing their view, if blogging is illegal way of transfer our thought to government, then what the rakyat hope is a better way for us to connect to the govenment. We have millions of citizen, and of course it was very very dificult to control and listen to all the rakyat wishes and hopes. So we hope a better way for the citizen to voice unhappiness is available...
6. Safer country and lower crime
A thumb up for the government for able to reduce the crime rate in Malaysia...Thanks to them because the statistic show that it had reduce...hehe...Because we lodge report said we been robbed, the police advice we lodge we lost our wallet accidentally so it can make the process faster and renewal of IC will also fast...So sure criminal rate low la... So many rape case unreported because the victim are not willing to report it, so statistic is a static figure, the real environment now is what we concern. Where is the freedom for children to play in playground? Where is the freedom for girls to walk back from LRT station alone at night...
7. Faster and efficient way of doing job.
A must thumb up for Immegresion and Registration department of Malaysia for been able to make passport in 1 day time and IC in such a short period. I am truly proud for that. But not to the border immegression as they always never scan our bag or didn't even see our passport. See what happen when we go to Singapore. In Malaysia custom, no checking required except you hold your passport and walk pass them where they didn't even bother to look at us, no scanning of bag required. This happen even to Singaporean who travel to Malaysia. What if someone carrying drugs and was not notice by the custom.
50 years of independent, we are proud that this nation had develop to what we have seen nowadays. A small changes will change the country. Vote for the future. Vote the the best candidate. Think before you vote.
Hope they can bring much better changes to our country. Hope this post didn't causing any stir in my blog...If u think this post is not appropriate, do post some comment and I shall delete it...But it was just my idea and do not represent anything because I was just inmaterial to the country...

ACCA Conference
Yeah, Yesterday I manage to stop by Sg Long for the awesome ACCA-UTAR 2nd Student Conference. It was in deed a better conference than last year as the organizing committee was quite professional in handling all task...As for me, who was not really invited, at last seat at VIP seat...(already expected because I know Sandra will always ask me to accompany her) wakaka...
Congratulation and well done to the committee for the excellent job...Hehe...As an ex-chairman, I am in deed very very proud with the success. Hopefully, with the end of the second largest events, you all are more prepared for the biggest event that will soon arrive in few weeks time... Mr Lai told me that he and the other officer are awaiting for the Tun Ling Cup to be on the stage again...yeah yeah...Fortunately he still recognize me but i doubt he can really recall about the Tun Ling cup things la...wahaha
So to all helpers and committees, congratulation again and if I have time on the upcoming events, I might also stop by in Sg Long... Oh ya...Some people told me that the security and safety in Sg Long had been going from bad to worst, so all students in Sg Long, hope you all can always be alert and be more careful when you all walk to and from the university.
