CNY is all about gathering

For some reason, I kinda making a comeback in blogging....Well, really dunno why....

Chinese New Year is about gathering, meeting up relative, friends and people you know but might not seen for ages.....Go house to house with mandarin oranges, good wishes, gamble, eat eat chat chat and gain weight.....

Chinese New Year is definately great time to be happy, joyful and most importantly stay positive!!!

Today I was coughing my lung out....My throat is flaming the whole night and the moment i step into office, my throat is really killing me. I minimize talking for whole day.

However, in the middle of busy time, i still got time to bitch around in msn with close colleague. One of my colleague told me that Starbucks' Mint Blend is good for throat so she ask me to get it.

Well....how many good colleague can we have in office? Gosh, if all staff were like "phantom" that hunt me for life, I think I already die long ago....

Guess what...

I come back from lunch...*cough cough* when i open the department door. So glad that phantom is yet to come back from lunch....Look around, on the air-cond and to my shock a big starbuck logo.....

I was like, who give me this....I was stun....I think I stun for 5 second though. One of my colleague look at me and ask why I stun....

I was speechless and point at the starbuck..........and in second, my mind pop up....will it be mint blend? MINT BLEND?

I open up the cover and is real, MINT BLEND.............

I am so touched that in office, i still can find good friends.........

Sometime, not all colleague is evil....



I am glad....that among some horrible, terrible, heart breaking colleague, I find friendship....Cheer....

CNY and I am emoing

Chinese New Year is always a time of celebration. Time to gather with the love one. The whole 15 days is full of happiness and laughter.

This year my new year was much of a different and was consider a new twist compare to others days. Normally my first 2 days is reserve for my relatives while third and forth day was for my friends.

However, there is so many things happen this year that my new year was totally different. On the first day of Chinese New Year, my family left for vacation in Hong Kong, Mainland of China and Macau....and I was totally alone in the house with one of my aunty. Life is suck especially the first day I spent whole day MSN, Facebook and Gmail....and yeah, no one was active that day as most people are so busy that they have forgotten what is facebook and MSN.

Second day of my new year, I was invited to my friend house. One of my friend address this gathering as 'Ah Mao Beh' which mean Mat Salleh Horse.....This bunch of friends are basically banana and english educated person. As far as I am a banana, I am actualy not that close with them as I always find myself isolating from them. Maybe I was too shy with the level of my 'wisdom' compare to them. Well, the 4 hours meeting was full of 'singapore and australia lifestyle topic. No doubt we discuss a lot about investment, business and future which was quite positive, but somehow, I always have the downside with them. Looking at those rich kids make me feel that I am so left out....I am not saying they left me out....In deed i appreciate that they invite me over for the gathering.....Is just my own emo feeling that always conquer my life..

Second day also saw my close colleague storm my house for gambling session and playing firecrackers. Looking back on how I can find such close friends in workplace, make me think twice should I go ahead with my planned plan to leave the company soon....

Third day as normal, my secondary school gathering with house visiting. Time fly and it have been 7 years since we left the secondary school and everyone is now either big boss, bright future career man and woman and great student....Again, I rethink what I had achieve....I remind myself not to compare to much, because there is nothing to compare to...

Fourth day I went to office to symbolicly mark an auspicious working day hoping life would be smooth in the rabbit year. Went to gym and follow with few house visiting and meet university friends for seafood dinner.

As for my collegemate gathering, sadly this year gathering was cancelled as everyone was extremely busy with their work. Since I had book an apartment in Genting View Resort I headed to Genting with few friends as vacation....An today 15th February, a day after the valentine day, I have a small gathering with my ex firm colleague...It was a nice trip down to Malacca and Seremban...

With so many friends....question is why am I so emoing?
I don't know....Everytime I on the song on my computer, my emo feeling is back. Maybe the song I put is emo enough. For few days I am blasting Chinese New Year song in my room, few days back, I am again back to emo song.

I close my eye while listen to some song, I realise that I am so fortunate to have good food, good friend, good family, good life as compare to many others. However, if I change my mind to be negative, my work life haunted my mind, money haunted my mind.....my sin haunted me...

On the 9th day of Chinese New Year, I go for 'top up luck' prayers....It was meant for those who have clash with 'thai sui' and I was one of them. I knee down with josstick in front of huge 'kuan inn' and i have a sin in my heart not known by many people. For one hour I knee down for the whole process, I pray to Kuan Inn so I could be bless with a brighter path and hopefully I can be guide, lead from the darkness into a brighter part....

This year Chinese New Year is good...Knowing the whole year path will be bumpy, I have aim and work toward my plan. Finger cross that all my plan will success....I hope my prayer been heard....I hope all my wishes in low sang came true....I hope what I hope will never remain as hope but a reality...

Yes, I am emoing....but I know, a few hours after the emo session, I will find new light, new beginning and new hope....

I close my eye...hope a new chapter of my life will soon become reality....

Emotional unstable

Well, the feeling had emerge again since 4 months ago...

When the water is calm, dont ever think that there is no crocodile inside the water. Life is so unpredictable. When time are good, work happilly, every second pray for ESOS price to go up, working so hard to achieve our KPI...everything will seem good....Sometime is just too good to believe...

Yeah, one small dirty paint can destroy the whole drawing...That is what happen few months back. Despite attempt to bring back things to normal, nothing seem to improve....Everyday start work with draggy body hoping the lunch hour appear soon....After lunch, pray hard that the clock strike 6pm to go back home.....That was one of the worst feeling ever...

Just dont like the feeling.....yeah.....i been backstab and i feel like dying.....but because of ESOS........i gonna be patience....just for another few months....God, bless me with strength to move on....

2011 Resolution

Is another new year and is time for new resolution...

Well, gonna make it simple and easy this year....

1. Time to back to school....Try my very best to improve English...
2. Take more time to improve myself (maybe into more languages and self studies)
3. Earn better $$$$$
4. Get healthier....More muscle, lose fat...
5. Run for at least 5 run competitions....Target to run for more than 14km this year..
6. Keep posting on my 2 beloved blog.
7. To have great Bali and Hong Kong trip...
8. Sell my ESOS at good price....finger crossed, RM 7.00
9. Less Drama in office.....Less stress.....
10. Invested in some investment...
11. Continue charity work

2010 Recap

January – Start the year with a dull beginning. After a big fight in office, now it becomes a dramatic place to work. Colleague resigned, get wed and flying to oversea.

February – Dull Chinese New Year as parent when for holiday. Have a great blast celebration with friend but was disappointed with ACCA result.

March – Busy month full of work and classes. Feel like staying in offices for ages without much movement. When to Bangkok for a good trip…I am dreaming to go back there again!!!

April – Busy with work again and now is Penang….Meet great friend in Penang but sadly difficult to contact him back since he fly to Hong Kong to work.

May – Office politic become major drama and is affecting our life. Been ask to fly over to Vietnam to work for 2 weeks. Good experience in Vietnam….

June – Fly back from Vietnam and in 6 hours time, I am ready to run for my company marathon….would say FUN RUN…4.5km only…. Seat for my ACCA exam.

July – Work as usual. Time seem to move very slowly. Start to active in company activities such as badminton and bowling competition.

August – Bulan puasa and everything seem slowing down. Lotsa gathering with friends. Great news of all, I finally an affiliate of ACCA.

September – Probably the most exciting month ever. Start with my second running competition which is 6km Admiral Methodist Run follow by great company Family Day. When for company charity and volunteer club event to orphanage home. Run for 7km Olympic Day Run. Company Hari Raya Open House with great food and great dance.

October – Continuous of non stop 7 weeks of excitement. First week of October I have my ACCA convocation and follow by company treasure hunt. Second week I attempt the Computerized Unit Trust Exam and pass it and run for Nike Run the next day. Follow by another week of running in UPM for Mizuno Wave Run and paintball competition. The last week I have my skytrek adventure follow by KFC World Hunger Day Charity Walk and Klang Run4it 2010 Run (12km).

November - Tiring month. Been selected for annual dinenr sub committee and we plan to win big….Not really aiming to win big but actually hoping not to come back empty handed. Lots of dance training and spending time doing props. Become the teh tarik idol in the company during Deeparaya Luncheon. Although I do not win, but I bet I give quite a competition to the others. To end my November, I run for CICM 10km run.

December – The month ended with sweet and bitter. It start with lots of drama in office follow by a wedding of my colleague. Then come the big night, the annual dinner. We do our very best and we sweep away some good prizes, lauding our step in annual dinner. We are no longer the underdog! I give a huge surprise to the world by appearing as mermaid. It was pre-planed but not much people know it. A week later, I get a shocking news of my grandpa pass away. It was sad but that is life. I take it as it is. Christmas celebration was great in Malacca and follow by a blast in Cameron Highland for New Year.

Lost Direction

This blog have been inactive for somewhile...I totally lost direction of what to post. There is even time, I seriously thinking of shutting down this blog. I don't find anything interesting to blog about nowadays. Blog about politic been badly criticised and even threaten. Blog about emo emo stuff, will end up been gossip topic of the world. Blog about lifestyle is great but now life is so stable that there is nothing much to blog about. Food and travel was highly transfer to my food blog....End up, I am killing my blog silently....

That is life.....sometime, we just lost direction....

Is December. We are merely 30 days left for year 2010 and I am seriously thinking of what have I achieved. I start to find back my resolution that I make in the blog. Well, I dun really remember what resolution I have made but frankly I believe I achieve at least half of it...

Well, first half of the year was wonderful....Life is so meaningful.....Second half of the year been very emotional....There is too many negative chi in life although in bright side, I have more fun activities during the second half. Well, sometime if we look on the negative side too much, we lost our attention, our direction...

Well, rest assure, 2010 is a great year for me....So many first time experience...So many life memory capture in mind.....So many new friend I met...

Life is about change....I remember what I said in beginning of year. Well, I evolve...Good or bad, lets the world judge it....To me, I have my cunning part despite my innocent look...Wearing mask in life is not my character but sometime, that is life....

Well, lets give life a change....30 days left, how much more can I change? Let see....

Slacky again

Yeah....it have been again another month of slacking my blog...

Erm...lets do a recap of what have just happen in past few weeks....

From Mid of September until yesterday, it have been one of the longest and tiring week. I have been continuous waking up early and make myself occupied. I sign up with Celebrity Fitness on early September and currently still on the way to complete my personal trainer session.

This 8 weeks saw extreme improvement on myself. I lost about 5kg...Besides that I have been running for short distance run. This year itself i completed 6 running races being Setia Eco Run (4.5km), Admiral Methodist Run (6km), McD Olympic Day Run (7km), Nike Run (5km), Mizuno Fun Run (5km) and Run4it (12km). I also participate in the KFC be the movement walk. All this event is to occupied my free time especially weekend.

Besides that, I have been hanging out with my colluegue quite frequent nowadays. Been for some outing to Malacca, company charity work, company family day, skytrek adventure, treasure hunt and even paintball competition.

I also have my second convocation early October and my itchy hand end me up with another exam (Computerized Unit Trust Exam) which of course I pass.

i look at my calendar on my table now and I couldn't believe that every single weekend in September and October are fully filled up with events.

Well, for November, my calendar is still pretty blank and is time for me to be slacky...More time for sleeping...hehehe

Is the day where it appear once in 100 years...What have u done on that day?

On the auspicious day, we are also been shock with news of bus crash that kill 12 people. According to news, some victim are still strugling for life in ICU.

What when wrong anyway? Why is our buses always get involve in deadly crash? Is it the problem with our bus operator? bus driver? our infrastructure? weather? or the mentality of road user?

Well, we just cross our finger, just hope that there will be lesser cases of such tragedy....whats more a tragedy that happen on such a beautiful day...10/10/10

My 2nd Convo

Yesterday I have my second convocation in my life. This round it was for my ACCA convocation. It was held in Sunway Convention Centre. ALthough the event was badly managed, overall we still have lot of fun there.

Due to the poor arrangement, I was the first person on stage and that caught me a surprise. I bet I end up with ugly face expression on stage due to the shock...

I would like to take the opportunity to thanks to all my friend who rush from far to my convocation.

Is just historical

Eating mooncake while listening to "yua liang tai piau wo de jia" and staring on moon outside of my window, I suddenly feel I am so old....

I remember mid autumn was a time for lot of fun. I use to have parade with little bunny lantern....We walk the whole neighbourhood while sing the moon song. I remember how some neighbour will lay a table full of fruits as offering to the goddess of moon. It was once said that 2 god have fall in love each other and since it was forbidden in goddess world, they are seperated and only on the full moon of 8th moon in lunar calendar, they are allow to meet. This is why today is also consider as valentine day for some chinese. Well, not much people believe it nowadays after our astraounaut found there is nothing in moon except rock!

Beside parading, I remember i always play masak masak with my neighbour....Gear with 2 brick and one Milo tin cover, we melt few candle as oil for cooking. Simply find grass, wild chilli near the longkang, wild berries beside the drain and some mint leave and curry leave.....the aroma created was so nice.....

I remember how at the end of the day, we burn the candle and campak all the paper lantern and let it burn....We only keep our nice bunny, chicken, sailormoon, ultraman or what so ever shape lantern while the cheap paper lantern will never survive till next year festival.....

It was all old story....Is history now....Remember the past is so nostalgic...

How i hope time can be turn off and we are back to childhood where there is only happiness and no worries....
