It was 2 oclock in the morning. Despite there is a bowling competition going on within 7 hours from now, I couldn't sleep at all. Is raining heavily and it was cold. A nice environment to sleep.
It was a very emotional night. The night where I know I have make the very wrong step since the very beginning and I have no U-turn back.
My friend asking me for a friend birthday celebration which I insisted not to go. My mood was extremely bad and I scare I couldn't control myself. I decided to decline. Then come a sms, saying it was a join celebration for my birthday as well. Though I am still heavy hearted to go, I decide to turn up at least not to disappoint my friend.
I know my friend is always there to make me happy. In deed, the 3 hours together was filled with laughter and enjoyment. Now the moment I am alone, I flash back what happen lately.
I know is way too late for a return. I know I am stuck in no way. I know jeolousy have added more fire. I understand money is always the root of all evil....But I am human. I have emotion. I do have anger.
Too many what happen today is small matter. Principally wise, I am not happy with such treatment, but logically wise, who have the power, have it all.
My friend refresh me what we learn way back, during the era where we have no other worries....
I learn that there is 3 days to earn money being:
1. Product make money - just like Bill Gates....
2. Money make money - just like many investor like Warren Buffet
3. Knowledge make money - which is simple...No need to be genius. Just use your wisdom and make money.
Lately I learn also that there might be the fourth category which is network make money.....Being serounded with hundred and maybe thousand of trustable friend, we can each join and make money. We start small but we can end up big...
Principal man earn nothing. Integrity generate no cash. That is what I always hear though I try not to believe it. Well, being auditors external and internally, I can strongly say people with integrity do not earn money fast...in deed it was a poor man. But what make an integrity person rich is the value in himself. Money can earn, but how much value can you value yourself? If you are a billionaire of 7 billion, you are a normal guy with 7 billion of assets....When you die, what respect, what honour, what rememberance you left behind? Is the pass records of humanity, wisdom and attitude that left behind.
Yup, to us who care the respect? To us who care the value we earn? To us, having a dollar and cent is what that count. The power to purchase, the power to decide, the power of freedom is what we value now...
YUP, maybe it was right...
It was right I shouldn't be angry....
It was right I have make the wrong decision....
It was right I screwed myself....
BUT, I am human...
I have done something right and I believe it was right...I deserve to be emo...

Emo
Many people had been asking me why do I never blog about my current job as what I do when I was in my previous firm.
Well, there are significant changes in my blogging style since I change my job and I agreed that these changes had contributed to a drop in number of post in my blog.
Many of time, I do wanted to blog about my job and in certain cases, I had already written the post but I never approved the posting.
Previously, I post a lot about my external audit job. I posted about the happy things happening in the firm and all the knowledge I have learn there. My blog even attracts some new comers to the firm. I am very happy about that achievement. But stormy weather arrives replacing the sunny day and I suddenly decided to resign. My blog posts suddenly change into a dark room for me to confront about my feeling.
I know this will somehow happen in my new job that I decided not to blog anything about my job anymore. I minimize my post up to the extend that I try not to post about my company activities, annual dinner and even family day.
To be, my emotion can swing every other day. Maybe I love my company today but tomorrow I will hate it like my closest enemy.
To me I personally have also change a lot since I resign. I no longer a hot temper guy as I am before. I dare to say my patience has increase by almost 100 times. I am not as sarcastic as I am before. I am not as daring as before. I am not as active as before.
I remember the time I resign and at exit interview, I still fighting for the right of the staff. I remember the time I resign; I seem like psycho all the staff to join my rally. But time shows that I am wrong. Despite, I myself think I am absolutely wrong.
Now looking back, I know I cannot regret because things have turn into reality. There is no turning back and there is no point of regretting. Future is always bright if we choose the correct path. I am suck in chess, so making wrong decision might be just a normal things to me. Even chess genius sometime makes the wrong move.
It has been 1 and a half year. I could say the time flies like blinking of eye, but in reality the pain in the ass can be felt like million years. I learn there is nothing perfect in the world and I am now playing the corporate games that others are playing. I might not be the best player, but I will some day show the masked me.

Bagkok Last day - Short, Tiring, Sad
It was the last day. Everyone is tired and sad to leave Bangkok.
I wake up super early at 6am while others are still sleeping tightly. My stomach start to make sound so I decided to take bath and went for breakfast down there. Surpisingly Mighty is also awake by then and George and YT is also ready to rock. So 4 of us went down for breakfast while waiting for the super lazy Nicholas to ready.
After breakfast, we check out and leave our luggage in the luggage room and headed to MBK for last minutes shopping. We shop for some souvenir and have our lunch at MBK food court.

Headed back to hotel at 1pm and left to airport by 1.30pm. Due to Moscow train attack and some politic instability, there is many policeman been deployed at the airport. Every nook and corner is filled with policeman.

After check in we have 2 hours of duty free shopping around before heading to our departure hall. The airport is superb huge and lot of things to see and buy. Mighty flight to Singapore will be 4.40pm while ours will be 5.20pm. However our flight was taxiing around and stops for about half an hour. Maybe the airport was way to busy with hundred of flight taking off and arriving.

Flight touch down at 9.15pm in LCCT and we rushed back using Malaysia 'fabolous' public transport....I arrive Klang at 11.30pm....What a tiring day...

Redang - For richie only
Thinking of Redang you might be relate it to Summer Lover or Summer Holiday movie staring Richie Ren and Sammi Cheng...
Today state government announced that they are going to turn the jewel of Terengganu into a luxury island with only 5 stars hotel been allowed to built there.
What say u?
To me there is good and bad things
Good:
1. Less people will be going in and this will protect the ecosystem and the coral habitate
2. Generate a handsome sum of revenue to the state and country
3. Project a luxury image of the island
Bad:
1. Less people will be able to enter into the island. Redang have been famous spot for student and youngster which come from low income or high sensetivity group. By projecting a hotel rate above RM 1,600, the amount of youngster and local flocking into the island will reduce tremandously
2. Doing Rich person business is not as good as what we think off. Currently there is many rules and regulation in marine park and within the island. If we were suppose to provide 5 stars services, then customer will always right. What if customer choose to use sunblock, hairgel that can kills the coral or feeding fishes around the marine park? Even if they against the rules, they can pay the fine....But it was the ecosystem that get threaten.
3. Local chalet protrait image of island living. If we are to built 5 stars hotel, the land usage and change in ecosystem around the island might be affected. How about the current chalet operator? Bungkus and tutup kedai?
4. What is the main reason to go island? Soak in salt water, sun tan, building sand castle, play kite and snoorkeling is the main point....So why we need a 5 stars hotel with pools (since beach is in front of our eye) and gyms?

There is no wrong or bad about the idea....but to me, the island is such a waste if it was 'reserve' for the Richie....
Why not enforce the current chalet to help up in the environment and ask them upgrade their sanitary system?
Why not enforce stringen rules at marine park?
To be, environment should be protected and care by anyone, and thus everyone shall enjoy it....

Bangkok - Day 3
We wake up and have our breakfast at the hostel. It was our first breakfast since we have to skip the breakfast on the second day due to urgency of time.

After a simple dinner, we depart to BTS Nana and take the train to BTS Saphan Takhsin where the pier for Chao Phraya River cruise is located. Our mission is to visit the landmark along the river. At the pier, Mighty complaint he have stomach upset. Well mighty doesn’t seem mighty to me….

We depart to the 5th Pier name Ratchawang where the Chinatown is located. We have an hour walk around Yaorawat, the Chinatown area and Mighty was just too sick to continue the day. We bid farewell to him as he is heading back to hotel to have a nice sleep while we all cruising around to Grand Palace at Pier Maharaj.

Grand Palace was huge and grand. The entrance fees of 350 bath per person sound expensive in deed but one can easily spent 3-4 hours inside it. The Grand Palace include Emerald Buddha Temple.

Our next stop is Wat Pho, the reclining Buddha at Pier N8. As we have enough of temple, we decided not to enter the temple and headed to Wat Arun instead. Wat Arun is a must to visit landmark. It was situated in front of the Choa Praya river bank and one can climb up the very steep stair to arrive at the middle part of the Wat. Spectacular view of the river and life along the river can be seen from the Wat. The Rama Bridge that almost similar to Penang Bridge could be sighted at the top of the Wat as well. As the weather is terrible hot, we decided to change our clothing before climbing up. Basically we are sweating the whole day.

We headed back to BTS so we can continue shopping at Child Lom area. At this moment, we have yet another casualty down. This time it was Nicholas. He was way too tired to walk anymore.
3 of us continue our shopping journey venturing into Amarin, Erawan, ZEN, CentralWorld, Platinum, Pratunam market and Gayshorn. It took us 2 hours only to walk all the place as we have nothing in mind. We were hoping to find a good spa instead.
We went back hotel at 6pm and the 2 sick victim look in deed very sick. 7pm we decided to go to Cabbage and Condom to have dinner. This restaurant serves western and also thai food with the concept of educating people on the importance of using condom and safe sex. At the end of the dinner, we were given a condom each.

Then we went for Thai Massage call ‘King and I’. After a bad experience that we have, we are hoping for a good massage this round. In deed it was good but painful too…
We ended our day with chit chating in hotel room and packing for check out tomorrow.

Bangkok Day 2
We wake up extremely early on 2nd day to catch up with out planned tour to 'Old Bangkok', the ancient city of Ayutthaya, 50km away from Bangkok town.
We missed our hotel breakfast but we buy some express food from 7-11 while shooting photo around our hotel compound. The chartered van arrive at 6.20am and we are set to Ayutthaya.
Story cut short,
our first destination is Bang Pa Inn, the summer palace. It was built by the king of Thailand many years ago and was kinda villa for them to stay over. Each king built its own structure here. There is building ranging from Roman, Chinese and even Thai style. We shoot a lot of photo and even feed the huge tortoise and fish. I had never see such a huge tortoise in my whole life!!!
Green Elephant attack!!

Drink this to cure sickness??

cute Nicholas, no wonder someone call him pinky bear

Our next stop is Wat Yai Chaimongkol, a very nice wat with Cambodian style. There is stupa, hundred of Buddha statue and one huge stupa tower that tourist can climb in. There is also a sleeping Buddha whereby the building that suppose to house the Buddha have been destroyed by the Burmese during the Thai and Burmese War. The Wat was actually built by the King as a celebration of winning the first war between Thai and Burmese. It was said that if you make a wish in front of the Buddha, you should also put a coin at the Buddha foot. If the coin can stick to the foot, it would mean that the wish is granted. Well, it took 2 attempts for me to stick the coin though...

Then our next stop is Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit, the largest Bronze Buddha in the Thailand.

Our next stop was just beside Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit. The wat was name Wat Phra Si Sanphet which resemble the current Emerald Buddha Temple in grand palace. It was the royal temple during Ayutthaya period. It was totally destroy during the war with Burmese and there is also image of headless Buddha. As mark of respect and to obey the law there, we are not snapping any photos of Buddha without the head. It was so sad that how disrespect human are when come to war!

After a tiring trip, we have a late lunch by the riverside. The food was merely average. The tour guide then bring us to a local food stall to buy some traditional food. But none of us buy!!!
Then we travel back to Bangkok and stop by at the largest gem gallery. Basically it was the same as what we have in Phuket island. On our journey back we were flooded with red shirt protester. But nothing much happen. By the time we arrive hotel, it was already 4.20pm

We have some rest in hotel before departing for dinner.
At 6pm I asked everyone to prepare for dinner. 6pm in Bangkok is actually 7pm in KL, thus the sky start to get darker. We headed to Silom and Patpong using BTS. Ended up in Sala Daeng BTS station, the nearest BTS station to Patpong. We have a walk to search for food and we ended up with Pork Noodle again!
After our dinner, we have some shopping around Patpong. Our Tiger show was cancel since majority of us not interested including me. Well, for some I believe they will be very disappointed. But well, nothing much I can do...because it was nothing much than an old nanny performing some show...Am I right?

We went to massage to pamper ourselves and my pity legs...Have not been walking for so much for ages already....
2 hours of massage ended in a blink of eye and is late already. We headed back using BTS and continue shopping in Nana district. Buy some mango sticky rice, beer and snack for supper. Have a good chat before heading to sleep. That is the end of our day...

Bangkok Day 1
As an imsonia addicted person, I usually unable to sleep during the eve of my trip. However, this time around I feel nothing at all and went to bed at 12 midnight after last minutes packing my luggage. The feeling is so different compare to other trip as there is not much excitement. Maybe as age is catching up, the excitement is no longer as strong as younger time.
Wake up at 6am and have a quick bath and breakfast before departing to KTM station at 7am. I missed the 7am train and have to wait for 7.30 train which lead to me being the last to arrive KL sentral at 8.30am.

We opt for AirAsia bus as it was much reliable and arrive LCCT at 9.30am. We check in just on time and waited for 20 minutes before boarding the plane. To our surprise we have actually booked the ‘FD 3572’ flight which is a AirAsia Thai operated flight. We were greet with ‘Sawadee ka’ by the air stewardess and at that point of time, the ‘suah ku’ me realized that the whole plane will be operating in Thai language. The Airbus depart at 10.42am, a slight delay of 2 minutes which is consider very good to me.
We arrive ‘Suvarnabhumi Airport’ at 11.45am Bangkok time, after a 2 hour flight. Please be reminded that the time in Bangkok is one hour later than KL timing. We have our brunch at the Airbus itself. I took the infamous Nasi Lemak.

We get a metered taxi at the airport which in normal circumstances, the price is fixed and the metered was switch off. It cost us 445 bath. As usual, the driver will not be able to find the hotel that we stay as the driver in Bangkok are not really expert in their own road but with my heavy preparation before departing, I am able to usher the driver to our location.
We check into ‘SUK 11 Hostel’ at the famous Sukhumvit road. It was well located with 7-11 convenience shop in front of it. The hostel is a famous backpacker hostel full with foreigners ranging from European to Asian.

Upon check in, we rest a while and depart to Chatuchak Market at 2pm. From Nana BTS we headed to Mo Cit BTS station. Basically Chatuchak have everything under the sun..Say it and you will find it...

We have our simple lunch at Chatuchak of Spicy Soup Noodle and Pork Tender Soup Noodles. We shop around the Chatuchak Market, which is also the biggest market for 3 hours. It was stuffy, sweaty and tiring adventure. We spent a lot for food!!!

We rest ourselves at Chatuchak public park. To my surprise the park is well maintain and clean. They even provide free picnic mat around the park. The cloudy weather seem to be the best time to rest while waiting for Zhe Quan arrival.

We headed to Siam BTS at 6pm and we have a walk for about 1 hour before Zhe Quan appears. We shop around Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Discovery and shop opposite Siam Paragon. Have our Samurai Pork Burger at McDonalds. It was normal and taste more juicy and tender than our normal McChicken.

We then headed to MBK which was few step away from Siam Discovery. We wonder around until 10.30pm before we headed back to our hotel. Feeling not enough, we end ourselves at night market under Nana BTS station and have supper of ‘Pray Thai’.

That was the end of our very first day in Bangkok.
