We hope to fly like birds but we can't. we hope to be dolphin, swimming freely, we can't. Life is life. It may be good and it may be bad.

Life is like a pot of hot soup - whether you want it to be sweet, salty, sour, bitter, etc. - it depends on the ingredient that you put in it. Therefore, whether life has a meaning or not, it really depends on your on effort on putting a meaning to it. I, too, have been years seeking the meaning of life, but honestly, it is too subjective and there's no one correct answer for it....
