AGM and Birthday...

I feel so release..at last all the burden is release...
Yesterday, unpredictable I attend 2 AGM, first aid and SRC.

A year in First Aid society was great. Although I have not upgraded my first aid skills but I manage to know a bunch of crazy and always cheerful friends. It was nice working with them despite I always missing in action for most of all the meeting..hehe..

A year in SRC, allow me to see utar in different angle. I know all the great leaders, see how they manage their society and get to know them more. Although a year getting the position of auditor, my job is just audit the account and nothing else until lately I help up in Kampar trip and election of SRC...Knowing the SRC committees is really my great pleasure. Kent and Ji-Leng is just a real joker. It was great time to be with this geng of so call great leaders...undeniable, Kent is a great leaders and I believe he can success in his career especially if he go into politics..hahaha

Anyway congratulation to new board of First Aid Society and SRC.





Today on the other hand, we celebrate Yen Thoong Birthday. It was a surprise party for him and we also do some small memorable diary...Hope he like it..Here are some photo taken today...

A Week of sick..

Wow.....

Have been sick for a week..Not just me but also my computer fall sick for a week..
It was my worst illness ever where high fever, bad sore throat, coughing non stop, a whole night of vomiting, flu and many many more. On the same time, my dear computer have to admited to hospital as its mother board burn...

So how was my whole week?

Basically bad week...lot of sleeping and feeling sick..haha..No time online and busy with assignment lo..

Anyway, really not so much time to write blog already as everyday is very busy and timetable is getting packed..haha

Kampar Trip 2

Here go my second trip to Kampar.

The purpose of the trip is to give support to their talent time in Kampar as well as having a short dialogue session with the juniors. The topics of dialogue include important of extra cucuriculum activities, UTAR 5 years of excellent, quality campus life and so on. The session is very successful where seniors and juniors can share their views and interact with each others. In between, we have nice games to play to make the moods spreaded around.

We then go for short campus tour and dinner at Giant Curry Chicken Bread shop. We are very happy that the junior respect us very much and keep on thanks us in the talent time speech. They have done a very good job in organizing the events without any experience.

While other participants back to KL, I follow some crazy gangs to stay overnight at Kampar. What happen at that night is something that I will never forget. Is the night that I believe all of us will treasure the most and remember it. Is also one of my most happy day where I can release all my tension out. Hahaha..poor juniors who have to listen Kent and my lecture..haha

Second day..of course we went to Ipoh to have out famous taugeh chicken rice and drink coffee...not forgeting those juicy pamelo...Although the Sam poh cave is a bit dissapointing but I believe is a good journey there...

Now is extremely tired and hope can sleep for a very long long period..haha

Corporate Day

Human will not behave if there is no rules or punishment to govern it...So effective next week, any one who is not wearing corporate wear will not be allow to come into the campus. Besides that for security measurement, anyone who is not wearing student ID will not be allow to come into the campus building.

Please be reminded that although you are inside the campus, do not take down your ID. It was an extra precaution to prevent any unnecessary trouble.

Natural Disaster

Since the shocking disaster of Tsunami on 26 December 2004, Malaysia may seem not as safe as what it was years ago. ALmost all earthquake can be feel in Malaysia now even it happen few thousand miles away from our country. Malaysia wheather had also changes a lot. Storm, flood,mini tornado, big waves and lot of other disaster have been found in Malaysia since after.


The recent Big storm in Penang really create chaos to the Penangites. How about the big flood in Johore and Malacca few month ago? Not forgeting the Mini tornado that destroy some part of Portugease Village in Malacca in May.


All this have been relate to the human responsibility to our mother earth. What we see now may not be the same again next time. If Tioman is the Top 10 island of the world 10 years ago, why it wasn't now? Why the beach in Redang is not as beautiful as years ago? What happen to our running water in Klang River now? All this is because of our human behaviour toward our earth.






Ask yourself, where you throw the packet of drink you bought at pasar malam? How about those newspaper you read everyday? Since we were small we were educated to recycle, reduce using unnecessary plastic bags, not to throw rubbish anywhere and so on but what we see nowadays is just a sad story of human mentality. Everytime you saw a rubbish bin or trash can, the first thing you see is pile and pile of rubbish serounding it but when you open the rubbish bin, what you see is almost an empty bin..Is this what we were taught in school? Same thing happen to Klang river now. People are no longer shock to see crocodile in Klang river but will get shock of how many rubbish is floating on the water. Imagine nowadays, people will never choose to commit suicide there as well because it too dirty..^.^


So..What can we do??What can we do to protect the earth? How to reduce those disaster? How we can maintain the environment now so our next generation can see what we see now?

Think again...what can we do? Think again...What can we really do to help the earth.

What a weekend

It was a short but yet a week full of bad and good memories...

When back Klang on saturday morning where I have my breakfast at McDonald's KL Sentral..I have never taste such a bad McD breakfast b4..feel like wanna reject the whole food...One hour journey back to klang and arrive at 9.30am. Have some rest before when to CIMB bank to settle something but the queue is long..Even there is only 10 person but I end up spening 1 and a half hour there..The staff is so rude and slow. Feel wanna close the account there and move to other bank..

Then drive to another place to settle something where I met an accident when finding my parking......hhh...my car side mirrow flew dunno go where after hit a lorry...Good thing is the car have no other problem except losing its side mirrow...

Night time, when out to celebrate friends birthday. It was my last minutes planning so no cake and nothing..just like a simple gathering...Then we go and watch movie and since there is no more movie ticket left, we have to watch the non-popular movie which is Men In White...Stupid show where u can laugh till ur tummy burst

14 June 2007 - A bit fever today. Feeling not so well since yesterday...Can't wake up after the afternoon nap..The whole body is so tired and feel very sleepy each time I close my eye..

Father's Day is here again and I wish all dad in the world, Happy Father's Day...

Undergo tough day..
Not enough sleep for days...then go to a boring class and have to keep myself awake for 2 hours...then accompany friends to ppolice station because have to make accident report and rsuh back for ACCA talk...follow by interview session and doing my presentation...haizzzzzz..life is so tough and adventurous at the same time..

20th June

20 June is approaching and it was one fo my best friends birthday..He invited me to his birthday party at Genting, which unlikely I couldn't attend.

Since I study in UTAR, my timetable is fully packed, especially I have to divide my time for studies, society and social life. It was really difficult. I still remember my friends said to me that if i fail to plan i plan to fail and thus I am really sorry to tell him, i m still not a good planner.

Seeing my result droping is sad, but seeing myself fail to get what i wanted is more hurt...

20 June will saw lot of event, which I not really know how to choose. There is First Aid Society AGM, KPMG tour, and friend birthday...

I only have a choice and it was difficult to make. First Aid Society, is the society that I miss a lot of events and I really feel sorry to the committees for neglecting it. My friends, of course I have not been frequently contacting them since I start studies and KPMG tour, I was ask to go by UTAR management and society advisor.

Life is full of challenge and today I may have to make my decision that will determine a lot of things...haha..

I just wish my decision is best for me and for the others...

Friends from klang..how life

Hi all my secondary friends in klang or anywhere you are right now..

Sorry that this few years I have not contact you all so frequent as we all are busy with our tertiary education. I believe we all have our own memory in tertiary level. Why not share with us...I am also very sorry that I can't appear in most of the event you all organize such as birthday party, gathering and trip.
I believe majority of you will be celebrating your 21st birthday or had been celebrating it months ago. Thanks for all the invitation and sorry if I can't attend the party. I am quite busy with my uni life in term of education, society as well as social life. Despite I am almost retired from all society in my uni, the education part start to make me headache again. I promise I will be spending more time in Klang after October as I will be free by then..Anyway..those in klang have a nice time

Disebalik cerita UTAR

Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, established in June 10, after a long discussion with government to expend TARC into a university. However, our former Dr M, decided to have UTAR established to allow more students from Malaysia to study at variety of universities available in the country. Tun Dr Ling along with the management team lead by Tan Sri Datuk Dr Ng Lay Swee work hard to get the best council internationally and locally to help maintaining the high standard in the university.

Today UTAR after 5 years have achieve a milestone of achievement. There been controversy since establishment of UTAR such as why UTAR majority is Chinese, UTARian English standard are poor, Perak Government bias as they give such a Big land to UTAR and so on. However all these controversy doesn't stop UTAR development as all the argument is not true. UTAR open to all Malaysian, Not all UTARian are bad in English (lecturing is full in English), and Perak Government sponsor land for UTAR because they foreseen development in Kampar.

5 years and what UTAR achieve may seem too fast, but this is the unique of UTAR. Standing at New Kampar town that is our UTAR main campus. An artistic structure which our very own Higher Education Minister said was the most beautiful Campus in Malaysia. UTAR students are employable and demand on the students is very high. Now we have over 17000 students in 4 Faculties, and foundation studies all in 4 campuses (PJ, Setapak, Sg Long and Kampar).

The existence of UTAR have bring hope to more than thousand of students who graduated since August 2005. In future, UTAR will expand with Faculty of Human Health and Medicine which was announce since establishment of UTAR. Kampar will sooner turn into a town of students as 20000 students are expected to be there by 2009.

UTAR campus will sooner become one of the biggest campus if they fully develop the land. The land is much bigger compare to some of the universities in our country. I strongly believe UTAR have done a great job and will continue to success in time to come..

Kampar Trip

Waking up at 5am to do my presentation slides seem like a last minutes job!! Haha...This is because I fall a sleep without noticing that I am actually asleep!! Hahaha… Anyway the reason I wake up so early for the slide show is to be presented to the junior at Kampar Campus…

Yeah!! Kampar campus here I com……………

I seem like an idiot waiting at the north lobby bus stop waiting for car to fetch us to Kampar. According to Kent, we are suppose to meet at 6am but after an hour wait, the car that we waiting for arrive…It was Kent who didn’t inform Max, the driver of the day that he need to pick us at 6am. To make thing worst, we are suppose to meet Kent at his house!!!!!!

Anyway, the journey continue till we stop at R&R Bridge Sg Buloh (bird flu area) because Ji leng wanna “poot poot”. So we have our breakfast at Burger King where the food there is expensive and lousy.

The whole journey was full with laughter as both Ji Leng and Kent sing and joke around. They can really crap for hours… We arrive Kampar at around 10.30 and everywhere is cemetery. We then turn to Jalan Universiti, which is a bridge that link to UTAR main entrance. We stop at Block D and proceed to Student pavilion where it is the place for student activities and cafeteria. It was beautiful as you can see the hilly and lake panorama when you are having your meal. Just few step away is the lake.

Then we proceed to meet with the Junior where we only expect 12 of them but it turn out to be about 30 students. There are all people who are so passionate to create society and club at UTAR. Unbelievable bunch of students!!

After a few hours of lecturing by Kent and us, we settle down for group discussion and then we move on to do other stuff. We went jalan jalan in the campus although there is only 5 blocks but it occupied about 80% of Setapak TARC campus size. All the building is beautiful. You won’t believe until you step into the campus. Let the picture above tell you the story..

Then we go kampar old town for Giant Curry Chicken Bread where we also have our lunch there…Nice food!!

Then we when to Lata Kijang although Kent is rushing back to KL and ask us not to go.. But we decided to ignore him and go there as well. After snapping some photo and being cheated by some local because we need to pay car pack fees, we decided to go back KL. Buy some kuih to be eaten in the car also.

Then we stop at Tapah R&R where we buy Jambu and Ji Leng wanna "shee shee"…Lot of jambu there..The R&R is so beautiful. That was the last stop before we headed back to KL.
The whole journey is fun as we are like Town boys and gals that never see trees and animal before… Can’t believe Bangau can fly and Buffalo can swim. We also saw dirty sheep, goat, cow, chicken and lot more. All of us like never see duck before and Max who is driving keep on see the panorama more than the road so he drive so “hong pou”.

Back to Sg Long we have dinner at Lo Hong Ka where we thought the price will kills us and they only serve bird nest. To our surprise they serve healthy food and very cheap too. Should try that next time if you all got time. Nice time with whole bunch of crazy fella..Kent the joker, Max the driver that didn't see road, Ji Leng the poot poot and shee shee gals, and brian the photographer and big laughter fella

Mari kita pergi sama sama..See me step down...I m so happy and on the same time sad...So many good memories while I am holding the post. A bit sad to let go..It have been almost a year taking such a big responsibility to manage a society with more than 500 shareholders, and big capital..Actually not much also..haha... I have trying my very best to contribute and fight for the justice of accounting students. I hope my effort of bringing in ICAEW into UTAR is a good start.

Starting my term also, our society have branch out a new task where we connect corporate worl with UTAR. Among them are those Big 4. It was a good start for us to visit Ernst & Young and KPMG. In this few month, there will be trip to KPMG and E&Y again. Both in planning and again UTAR gives chances to top 40 students again where of course I am not in the list!! Sad Sad..Hopefully I can mis use my ex-chairman post to go..haha..Anyway, PWC will be inviting us very soon and Deloitte has suggested to organize office tour also. All will be here very very soon..How fortunate the Top 40 Students...

Anyway..AGM doesn't seem as easy as it may seen... Many things need to be settle so we can report all event and financial to all shareholders...Hopefully this year AGM will be a better AGM. For sure final year student will never bother to be here because they have no chances to get post but really hope this AGM can be a gathering of all members so we can exercise our voting power. All people are almost 21 or at least 21 so they must be train to vote so they can do so in General Election soon..haha

Now..my friend ask me one Big Big question??What have I contribute to the society(mean to everyone..not just Accounting Society) by holding post in Accounting, First Aid society and SRC..haha..Hope you can tell me in the comment. I personnally dunno what I have been contributing...

I wanna take this opportunity to thank all..especially U..haha..U..U and U for supporting me in this few years. Is my retirement time...How good if I can claim EPF after retired..haha..
