My journey home...

Yesterday after a heavy rainpour, I decided to go back to my home in Klang. Besides to service my car, I also hope can relax and stay away from the busy KL city...

As expected the stupid ex-government project is the main reason of heavy crazy traffic jam. The jam even started at Bukit Raja, somewhere 3 kilometre from the affected area.

Teluk Pulai, my dearest home area was badly affected by weird storm last weekend. I had experience extraordinary storm in Klang few times before I move to KL for study and work, but from the local hearsay, the last week storm is worst and many residents are affected with float and major destroy on the roof. Trees are uprooted by the strong wind and roof are flied away by the mini tornado...Ok it sound horrible...Actually not a tornado but I seen before wind that twisted along the way and many leaves and small things also twisted together with the wind...So I call this mini tornado...Quite comman in Klang...

So yesterday I went back to see what actually happen and what I saw is just many people repairing the roof and the new govenment handing some donation to the local resident.

They are really kind in deed whereby besides monetary helps, they also give some benefit in kind such as food, rice and canned food donated by local businesses. Malay, Indian, and Chinese are happily repairing their houses setting up the feeling of Muhibah...We are happy staying together...

Growing up in Malaysia is such a benefit. Learning multi languages, seeing multi culture and religious practises and enjoying wide range of multi races food is just some of the benefit we can ever enjoy in our homecountry. We are all Malaysian, not immigrant...We didn't jammed the bus station during the public holiday OK....We have blue IC OK....Ok ok...this sound a bit bad..let me stop this...

So what I wanna say is unity base of success....Lets get united dude...

2 days to forgot the suffering

It had been a hell of time for most of us who work as auditor. The peak period had just ended but for us in BDO, we never feel there is a fullstop. Once the end of peak period, again another task will come on hand making it impossible for us to even have a good rest.

For me who been locked one day, I am looking forward to be free and enjoy to the max...Mind you, when I say max, I can go as crazy as going for bungee jumping and riding to the roller coaster...

As planned we are going to have a sudden farewell party by having lunch at Imbi Noble House. We have a RM 39++ buffet lunch which come with Shark Fin. Basically it wasn't a farewell but more to have a outing together with some of the colleague.

Here are some of the photo...I would said the buffet is value for money as the variety is a lot...We decided to go there after we saw
Kampungboycitygal...I couldn't take any nice photo at the serving table since it was crowded with people...

We ate until 2.30pm and we decided to go shopping after dropping soh kuen who is worrying about her work even before she start the first bite of food...Haiz..
During the journey of going to th LRT station we chat about having a trip to Genting. chat chat chat, chit chit chit, chat chat chat, we decided why not go today...and when it was today, it mean now lo....without any preparation, we headed our way to Genting. 2 hour later, where we suppose to be shopping at Pavillion, we are instead shopping at The Pavilion, First World Plaza, Genting...

Enjoy the following photo....I am tired of typing yet another long story...

True Merdeka this yaer

Date:31 August 2008

Time: 00:00:00

While the whole country is celebrating the merdeka, here I am locked in the house waiting for my "friend" to rescue me...Promise to come back at 10pm but now the soul also not here yet...

This year merdeka really meaningful for me...A feel of no freedom, starvation, no connection with outer world...The true merdeka is freedom, independent and after 50 years I believe another meaning of merdeka should be success...

This year merdeka theme "Perpaduan teras kejayaan" or English we call it "Unity the base of Success"

This should be the theme since long ago as Malaysia, a country full of races, religious and skin color we all have been staying so united. Years we have hear that there is break in races in Malaysia but yet we are still strong...Do not be fool by some minority of people or small group of people...

Don't care who will govern our country yesterday, today or tomorrow, Malaysia is place for everyone. If anyone say Malaysia is for one race, I believe Malaysia will die.

51 years ago, if no Malay we don't have rice and administration, no chinese we don't have business and commerce, no Indian we don't have argiculture...Now 51 years later, we see people are still strong on unity. Since then we no longer have seperation of race according to the jobs scope...

You see, the richest man of Malaysia is Indian...The most CEO are Malay and chinese...So our country is build with this 3 major races supported by hundred other races and ethics.

Merdeka...

We should treasure Merdeka and make sure we do not lost it again....

51 years....not long, not short...we are developing....

MERDEKA....MERDEKA.....MERDEKA....MERDEKA......MERDEKA...MERDEKA....MERDEKA

A feel of been jailed

Today I wake up at 1pm...Very late, i know...

I saw a lot of sms....I reply each of them...

I on the computer, msn and chat till I forgot the timing...

Is dinner, I call Jamie to go baskin Robbin since I hutang her for 1 ice cream treat...All my friend got their own date...So basically the whole day i starred at the computer...

After some chat, I decided not to go since got countdown there which will be very jam...So i decided to go out and tapau since my stomach is drumming whole day...

I change my cloth, prepare to go out, take wallet, take key and.....and.....and...............................

WTF, I am locked in the house!!!

I left my key in the car after supper yesterday. Thanks to myself and thanks to my friend la....

I wake up at 1pm, the whole house is empty...All also go back hometown this weekend and Nicholas is out to convo and then super makan makan again la...U know nicholas is live to eat and not eat to live de la...

So 7pm, I notice i am locked in a jail....
Wanna cook maggi mee also kesian, egg also rotten dy...my food all dun have dy...really feel like jail

I pray only 1 thing, please make sure the house not in fire....or not die...

So i prepare 2 things, I go find hammer, in case fire ma....(wtf, house no hammer)

second find food to eat lo....(wtf no food!!)only left rotten egg and oat...

I am fortunate got 2 very good colluegue chatting with me and Jamie to keep me entertained....Though my colluegue ask me eat grass since I always tease her as a moo moo...

So what can i do now is boil water, make oat, add milo, add honey and that is my whole day food...Damm kesian...

Now I feel the oat that I hate the most is my soul saver....Amithabha

3 lesson i learn :

1. never sleep till so late

2. stuff the house with more food

3. freedom and also starvation is really a huge issue...No freedom can die, no food also can die....So friend, today i accidentally fast 18 hours.....Another 12 hours and I can actually fast like those in Famine 30 hours...

Gathering

Sorry guys, this post should be here millions years ago and I just post it today...Sorry for being such slow due to my work...

Anyway, this gathering suppose to be a grand lotsa people gathering which i expect at least 20 of people but it end up to be 9 people...Ok, put the blame on me ya because I didn't call everyone out because again I am too busy...

What make us laugh ya

Neglected....

I have been neglecting this blog for the pass 10 days...

Frankly speaking this few weeks, I am busy with work, study and nothing else...

Basically I do write something on the blog but get nothing posted up as it was either not suitable for public, no mood to post or extremely no added value in posting it...It seem so impossible for me not to post anything that is out od my work...

Why?? Because now my time occupancy rate was 65% for work, 25% for study and 10% for sleeping...

Today I wake up extremely late because it was a long holiday...

3 days continue of traffic jam due to the rehearsal of merdeka celebration making me so tired. Most of Kl people hate it so much that they said Merdake suppose to be a celebration but it turn out to be another hectic day...

So what to write beside job?? Nothing much neh....So I decided to write something near to job but not to mention much...

For friend who didn't saw me for long time, I want to say that you might not recognize me because I am now fatter....Haiz...I put a blame on my unhealthy lifestyle whereby I missed my dinner for the pass 3 week and substitute with supper most of the time...

Bad Food at bad timing is equal to FAT FAT FAT

I have been strong supporter to fast food since I start working...Almost every week, I will spent once or twice for fast food...That is crazy....

Another good thing I find good about myself is I am good in making a barrier bewtween tables using files...Yeah...Working with lot of files so no choice I have to arrange it around me ya...So I am surrounded with files....Haha..

Last week I also become the first person to arrive office, and this week i become the last person to leave the office....Haiz...what a job!!

My Yong Tau Fu experience in Ampang after my very last try 10 years ago...Not as good as 10 years ago but still number 1...

Seem like I lum sum all in 1 post....Really dunno what to write dy...So rojak...

A free mind, A celebration, A sorrow depression...

After disclosing my deepest concern, deepest worried and my sadness to someone who had been there listening to me, I at last have a free of mind.

Today I do something stupid. I rejected a job offer which paid me crazily...No doubt I like the $$$, but I don't like the job. Imagine earning money which was like few thousand higher than my current suffering slave earning job. Arrr....No use to regret over something that I had rejected.

Today ACCA result out. 6 months from now, I will be same as those who waited their result today. Nerve craking...hand shaking... ACCA had been one of the most quality exam and also most suffering exam. 20-30 years ago, to pass ACCA exam, one have to lock himself in the room for one month just to pass the exam. Nowadays, thought it was much easier to pass and much flexible for the student, ACCA remain one of the most suffering, struggling and nightmare for future chartered accountants.

The result either convey happiness, celebration, relieve, OR sadness, sorrow, disappointment and moodless. Nothing come easily and thus to get the professional certificate, scarified is needed.

Congratulation to those who pass...Those who failed, don't be too sad. Failing is very very disturbing but life still need to go on...I did fail exam before..Some paper which I never thought I will fail. It was also the reason why I started to blog because I use my blog to release my sadness at that point of time.

I am also the same human who have difficulties facing failure. I still remember how I fail my advance tax paper in university and I was in Malacca doing my thesis. The bus journey alone from Malacca to KL was the most painful time where I cannot forgive myself for failing the unexpected paper. However, the painful journey is how I learn my most valuable lesson.

Since yesterday, I release what I had been keeping in my heart for months, my mind was really blank and peace. Now, I just hope to continue with my life and enjoy every single moment.

Anyway, this is will be my last blog posting about my work. I will no longer post anything about my work. Not even great news happen in office like "Oilcorp Audited by BDO"...Thanks for one group of reader who purposely read my blog to know what happen in real life of audit. I believe I have been giving a bad direction of auditing in some posting. Whether audit is suitable for anyone, it would be depend on each individual.

So today I learn my lesson...Today we celebrate success of ACCA, achievement, Olympic, and what ever good in ourselves...Today we also mourn for sadness and failure... Don't take long time to delete those sadness, stand up, walk again.

To all UTARian who pass in ACCA, congratulation... Those who fail and still have hope to continue ACCA, my advice, try again and again. ACCA is everything you need...Let suffer for a short period for a good, enjoyable long period.

Olympic Spirit in office

9/8/08 about 12 hours after the opening of Beijing Olympic Games, here I am in the office blogging while finish up my poor little job...

Yup...8am in the morning, I arrive office with a shock. There is no car in the parking lot, nor there any people at the office lobby. I take the lift up to 13th floor where my office is located and what in my mind, I am 100% sure that there will be somebody in the office...

I know that yesterday evening, everyone is back early for Olympic and even the management had come and ask the staff to go back to give support to the games opening. I didn't know that the olympic spirit are so strong that there is still no one else in the office...

Yes....I am the first...Getting the opportunity to open the door of my office is .... erm.... I can say...."quite memorable"....hahaha...

Yesterday opening was excellent but not to the extend where I will cry for...I remember when Malaysia host the Commonwealth Games in 1998, I can feel the joy, proud and spirit of the game. Maybe I am too far to China or because my poor classic TV is not clear enough to make me fell the excitement.

It was now 8.20 and one by one colleague is coming in... Is Saturday today so not all people will be back office... Saturday is more like doing charity or voluntary work for the company. Maybe in another perspective, I will said it was Responsibility that bring us back to the office.

Ok la....Time to kick start my work...Let celebrate for Olympic and hope Malaysia will get the very first gold medal this year...
