The Art of Organizing
I get the idea of blogging this after so many dramatic story happen in Energizer Night Run 2011. I was there personally to experience this event and I come back with a heavy heart. It was such a visionary and wonderful event but it end up in chaos and bring so much unhappiness to every party.
I would not say the whole problem come from one side but many parties have to be responsible in this event and take corrective action to make sure things is in order.
I do have experience in organizing event in university and we take things seriously. No doubt not all event turn up superbly well but we just make sure it never turn out sour like what had happen in last saturday night run.
Like most people say, never wear a big hat if you don't have a big head......It take experience and learning before you can take things right....Thus, runner make a good running event, marketer make a good marketing event...As simple as that...
Lets see what happen that night and you judge whether is it main title sponsor, event management or runner fault.
1. Date of collection of running pack changed and was only notified via their website. Some runner do not received confirmation nor collection postcard.
2. Headlight not given on the running pack collection but was given during running day.
3. Parking fees is RM 10 and collected by unknown RELA staff.
4. One way in and one way out via a narrow tunnel without proper air vendilation. 10,000 runner storm into the tunnel....
5. Headlight collection turn chaos after not enough headlight to be distributed to runners.
6. Queue for baggage area is about 30 metre long and not moving. Runner have to storm in because race is starting soon and get scolded by baggage area marshal.
7. No proper signage. Basically people don't know where to start and when to start. 11km and 21km runner mixed up together and some runner run to wrong course.
8. Water station turn out dry and some water station end up with ice only. But whats the point of giving out 1.5 litre water and canned drinks 1km before the ending of the race.
9. Not enough wrist band as marker for runner who need to run few loops. How to ensure runner have run the exact distance?
10. Shortcut in the course is everywhere and no marshal around to prohibits runner from taking short cut.
11. Worst nightmare is goodies bag collection. Queue as long as 300 metre can be seen even before the ending point. Goodies bag been thrown around and police have to take control to disburse the runner. How can they put 10,000 runner in 4 different narrow collection area....
12. Rude MC scolding runners
13. Medal, certificate and finishing T-shirt not properly pack inside goodies bag leading to delay in passing the goodies bag.
14. Banana is place on the floor. After the chaostic goodies bag area I accidentally step on hundred of banana....Anyway, those banana are green!!!
There are many more complaint which I cant verified whether it was true or not like the T-shirt we get is fake and some car broke into during the race...
What ever it is, now the main sponsor and event management company had both issue notification and apology to runners and will take corrective action. I am not sure how much will that help in building back the reputation and how much step they need to rectify the damages. But just hope everything gone well.
The funnies thing ever, they never register the event with regulatories bodies....what a biggest mistake...
If my memorise never fail me, everytime I do an event in my university that involve more than 20 person or more, I have to make a police report to notified the event so it will never been label as 'illegal gathering' and I will have to issue notification to all parties involve so I wont get into trouble.....But how come an event management company can even overlook on this matter...
I am so thankful that so many event I have organise, none turn out like a nightmare like this.....For me I will have nightmare a day before the event and cant sleep properly but after the event I can sleep for more than 15 hours....Happen to me during my University event....hahaha...

A perfect day
What is perfect day for you???????
Well, I hope I can start my day with a smooth drive to office and have a good subway sandwish as my breakfast.
A day of work can be tiring thus a conducive working environment is very important. Good collueague and friendly working approach is also important to me.
I prefer to have early work and early work release. OT should be minimal if possible. Travel is a must! I cant stand a work that sit in office 365 days.....Tea time with Starbucks Coffee sound great....
After work, I prefer to hit the gym for healthy lifestyle and go back home for a good meal.
Well, that is like fairytale story.....which might not really happen except I work as Sales Personel that I have flexibility in working time....
For now, I still have to go through all the pain of traffic jam, nasi lemak or economy beehoon as breakfast and office pantry Milo as tea break....
Well, I believe life can be better ans while I am still young, I must work hard...earn as much as possible....and have a perfect day in the future

3 parts of my body that I hate
Well, gals always say guys can't get their eye off on beautiful gals....Well, that is true... But guys also like to see handsome guy just to benchmark ourselves with them....hehe...Kiasuness...
Well, who don't like fair and good skin complexion....Who don't like muscular bicepts.....Who don't like smooth back???
As for me, I have 3 parts of my boyd that I hate about myself.....
First of all being my teeth....Gosh, senyum saja, harga saham jatuh....My teeth is so uneven that it look like Ugly Betty...
Second is my back....Sadly, my back is not smooth...There is some acne behind my back...Regret that i ignore hygience when I am young...super regret!!!!
Third is my tapak kaki lo......I won't say I am tall, but my leg is just small....Imagine I can fit into shoe size 7 or 8 le....haiz

Is April.....and is time for tax
In November 2010, we have Deepavali and Hari Raya Korban....
In December 2010, we have Awal Muharram and Christmas...
In January 2011, we have New Year and Thaipussam
In February 2011, we have Chinese New Year and Maulidur Rasul
Then come March.....we start to complaint there is no public holiday....
Job load become heavier and heavier....
Overtime is countless....
Everyday seem to be a rush hour....
But one thing that most people hate about March is EA form start to come in....Statement from KWSP and Insurance company also flying into our mailbox.....
Blink blink our eye, April is soon approaching and timeline for tax submission is also approaching.....Yes, April is the month that we hate....
So guys, have u guys start computing your income tax for 2010?
I have done mine and no matter how I hate giving money to the government....No matter how much i try to make deduction.....still as a responsible citizen, I can run away from paying my tax....Not much, but i think this amount enough to change the light bulb for a year and maybe help water the plant at my nearby public garden for few months....

The emo is back
I just back from the most happening, most fun, most horny corporate event in my life. It was well organise with Kam Po Po become the emcee and comedian of the day. Dirty joke, horny game, x-rated dance, ah kua show and pole dance filled the day with fun and enjoyment.
It was 4am now and I just back from the party. I am happy....I am really happy...
Few days back during Goddess of Mercy, Kuan Imm birthday, I make a wish that hope my prayer can be heard.....I go and kow chim and get a super good chim....Things goes well...
Well, why emo is back...
Been employed is such a good company is always a luck, fortune and I would say a blessing. But to leave such a company is like poking ourselves with knife...

Japan Disaster - Wha have we done?
It have been almost 2 weeks since the dramatic and horrifying twin disaster strike Japan. A 9.0 Ritcher Earthquake topped up with 10 metres of tsunami shake the earth of Japan and flooded it with sea water. Seaport destroy. Hundred of ship sails its way to town due to strong current. Crops and vegetation drowned with debris and sea water. Thousand of car float along the strong tsunami current that travel at the fast speed...and to make things worst, the ever radiation leak from the nuclear plant....
Well, it sound worst that Indian Ocean Tsunami Case.....whats more, it happen at the most populated country like Japan...I would say the death toll of less than 10,000 shown that Japan was much prepared for big disaster although it wasn't good enough....
But ask ourselves, what have we done here in Malaysia to overcome this? I would say, nil....Well, maybe let it strike once, then we will know the result...
Japan disaster now reaching the second week....Normal disaster, Malaysia would have run lot of campaign to raise fund. Every nook and corner, someone would be holding a fund box asking for donation and help. Sometime we might even think whether those money really ended up at victims hand.
However, so many days have past, beside from Tzu-chi movement to get fund, I dont see much effort taken to help Japan? WHY?
Politically, lot of people hate Japan. Japan during world war had kills many of our ancestor...Many Chinese still hate Japan....How many of you agree with me? I remember i was praying in the temple when the Tzu Chi people ask for donation, one 'ah pek' say, Japan kill my father, why should I help them!!!!
Economically, Japan is strong. This is good time envy country can overtake them...
For many other reason, I really think this is why there is not much fund set up to help Japan. Worst case, in time of radiation leak, our country don't even evacuate the citizen.....Well, maybe in their mind radiation leak not as serious as Mesir riot....I hope they don't think it this way. Nor I ever hope they will take into consideration or 'RACE' in making their decision....
2 week pass, everything seem to stable back to the normal condition. I pray that Japan will soon recover.....and I hope although Japan have been cruel in the war, we shall not penalise the other generation of Japan. We shall help without bias...Let bygone be bygone....

Sleeping with Mantra
As a Buddhist devotee, I love mantera.....especially The Great Compassionate Mantra...
Today, the eve of 15th of lunar calendar, I am listening to mantra while I was bloging and facebooking...
Out of sudden the mantra bring me back to my old memory....
During college time, I know few friend who sleep in hostel with mantra on....for what ever reason it was, whether they feel sinful, scare of ghost or they need a peace of mind during sleep...
For me, I try few time to sleep with songs but I just can sleep as the melody of song always swing my brain right and left causing me headache...
I remember for once, I sleep with mantra.....It was at hostel of course...
I was terrible sick and my roommate was no longer staying in the room for few weeks....The news of peeping toms was very comman at that moment. Thieves break in into hostel....Electricity wasn't stable and always cut off...I am having imsonia due to heavy intoxicant from those medicine that I need to relax my mind...
I on the mantra via casset in my radio while i slowly close my eye and sleep.......
Yeah, it help for once at least..
and today, with my confuse, complicated and stress mind, I am going to sleep with mantra again....Will I able to sleep?

Trip planning
U see....
For years I have been planning trip for myself and friends.....When ever i go for a trip, I will make sure everything is on my control....Well, why not especially we are backpacking and we need all information just on our hand....No doubt Iphone can help nowadays, but i still Iphone'less....
So....I wouldn't say I am damm hell great of a planner but I just make sure nothing bad happen in between.....Conclusion, the trip goes well, end well....that is my aim....and if can within the spell out budget.
To me below are some mistake that can happen or way to save money especially u are those 'airasia warrior' like me who want to make trip as cheap as possible...
1. Do not ever book departure at evening or night and returning ticket at early morning. This would normally the cheapest ticket but remember, u save the ticket but u waste on one day extra hotel room and even midnight taxi sometime....
2. Get a cheap hotel in town....Not far from town....Do research to ensure there is LRT, MRT or public transport around your hotel....else u will end up spending more money on transportation....
3. Minimize airasia charges if can.....Pay by maybank2u if can to avoid convenience charges (but hor, most sales are midnight and maybank2u terminate service by 12midnight)....take less luggage.....forget about food on sky....forget about pick-up seat arrangement especially u travel in big group....Do online check in....
4. Do research before the trip....plan the place nicely before departing....You don't want to waste time asking people for direction especially if you are in country that have language barrier....right....
5. Confirm time and place that want to go with friend before making the booking....I know is suck to have friend 'fong fei kei' at the very last second before the plane depart......Worst still, that person dont even share those expenses incur before hand...
6. Make online booking for hotel (budget hostel with good quality) and land arrangement (only for trip where u cant find good transportation around).......matta fair do help but just becareful with all the booking....
7. Dont cramp everyone in small room just to save the hotel price....You end up not having enough sleep and cant enjoy the trip....Find a cheap and good hotel....and book more room to get discount....
8. People who go together with you for the trip is extremely, superly important....If they keep on squeezing your budget, making noise, have too much opinion or talk too much that annoy you all the time....Choose your best travel buddy....and u will enjoy it...
9. Most important, to save your leave, make holiday that cross over weekend like Friday to Tuesday.....or Wednesday to Sunday....At least u save your leave....and dont say is impossible to get cheap ticket on weekend....I did get RM 1 ticket on sunday!!! but is not easy...
So guys......lets have trip....and this post was written because my sister gonna have one trip to Bali that depart at 6.30pm and returning ticket at 7am.......Too me, is totally a waste and also funny trip arrangement!!!

Trip
Since uni time, I have make promise to myself for one trip per year and hopefully one oversea trip per year once i start working. I have been working quite hard to achieve this target.
Year 2005 when I was in UTAR for the first year, I go Cameron with bunch of Accounting Society friend. It was a small trip but able to satisfy my travel worm! I also go for short Pangkor trip with secondary school friend.
Year 2006, I went to Langkawi (self organise) and subsequently to Pangkor again under Accounting Society Leadership trip...
Sound boring? Year 2007 is more adventerous as we have exotic trip to Taman Negara and Pulau Tioman.....Well, at least it was something new to me as both place is my first time vacation... I also go to Singapore for graduation trip too.
2008 when I start working, I make sure I go for one oversea trip thus I have war with thousand of airasia.com user to snatch the cheapest flight ever.....and yes, Phuket come into the picture....
Having starting new work and busy study, 2009 seem to be a quite year. No more oversea trip but I go to Redang Island with close friend....
2010 seem interesting that I start to ignore local trip in my diary..... I pre-book Bangkok flight since 2009 and have wonderful time in bangkok....I love Bangkok.....Well, I also fly to Vietnam for work but to me, is an eye opener....Different culture....different lifestyle... I do go for some local trip but it was nothing to shout about as it was always the same few spot that I go to.
2011 had just started and so many promising trip is on the way. Bali had been 100% planned and countdown to go. Hotel, transport, food and budget was well drafted out....Hong Kong Macau and Taipei is also in the pipeline.....Wow....a promising year to me...
So where else after 2011 and Taipei.....

I want a good rest
I was coughing non stop for the past few days....I feel like coughing out my lung and heart....Sometime I can feel the pain in my chest when I cough....I feel so tired.....so old....and so terrible....
Life have been extremely good and busy with every weekend I can hold my butt at home...Well, that is what my mom say about me.
No doubt it have been long since I have a good rest.....and when I mean a good rest would be resting on my sweet recliner with song....read book or just relax my mind....
Sometime human get sick not because the body is weak but mentality stress out, overloaded and many things wonder around the mind...
In my life, one things I put priority first is always career and earning big buck...I can sometime envy looking at people earning big sum of money....winning jackpot or so on....Yeah....is true sometime....
But looking back, is it a must to have big money to be happy?
In today world, people are very materialistic. Everything is measure by $$$......Nothing is cheap and forget about free lunch in the world!!!
What u guys think? Money money money....is so funny....in the rich man world.....

I can be quite bad sometime....
In life, as a human, we tend to potrait 2 side of image....Being the nice person, and another side of evil...
Few days back something did angry me.....
I booked an apartment for class gathering but it was called off because a lot of people can't make it to the gathering. Well, i am a bit sad and angry but as time pass by it was OK...
But what make me angry is that i substitute the gathering with another gathering. This bunch of friend of course wasn't that close but they are willing to go together with me so in my mind, why not....
On the day itself, we are suppose to go with 2 car but one of the driver just doesn't turn up as promise. We try to call him using multiple phone but he just don't pick up. It was obvious he is trying to avoid our call....So we headed to Genting with one car causing 2 other friends been abandoned in KL....
2 days later, he call me to apologise saying he did it with purpose because he wasn't comfortable of meeting up people. As both of us major in accounting, he asked me how much I earn. Knowing that i just work 3 years and earning slightly higher than him he ask me how to earn more money...Any advice to him...and he also date me out for yum cha so we can talk about it.....
U guess what is my answer...
" The 2 things I hate in my life is people just don't turn up when he/she already promised...and people not taking up phone when people are urgently looking for him/her..........so u had just hit both....u think i gonna meet up with u? and regarding why u can't be successful despite u have been working for almost 7 years...well, see urself in the mirror and look back....u fail socialise skill and most importantly dont have business man attitute....how to be successful if a businessman dont answer phone call and fong fei kei....."

CNY is all about gathering
For some reason, I kinda making a comeback in blogging....Well, really dunno why....
Chinese New Year is about gathering, meeting up relative, friends and people you know but might not seen for ages.....Go house to house with mandarin oranges, good wishes, gamble, eat eat chat chat and gain weight.....
Chinese New Year is definately great time to be happy, joyful and most importantly stay positive!!!

Thank u....i m so touched
Today I was coughing my lung out....My throat is flaming the whole night and the moment i step into office, my throat is really killing me. I minimize talking for whole day.
However, in the middle of busy time, i still got time to bitch around in msn with close colleague. One of my colleague told me that Starbucks' Mint Blend is good for throat so she ask me to get it.
Well....how many good colleague can we have in office? Gosh, if all staff were like "phantom" that hunt me for life, I think I already die long ago....
Guess what...
I come back from lunch...*cough cough* when i open the department door. So glad that phantom is yet to come back from lunch....Look around, on the air-cond and to my shock a big starbuck logo.....
I was like, who give me this....I was stun....I think I stun for 5 second though. One of my colleague look at me and ask why I stun....
I was speechless and point at the starbuck..........and in second, my mind pop up....will it be mint blend? MINT BLEND?
I open up the cover and is real, MINT BLEND.............
I am so touched that in office, i still can find good friends.........

I am glad....that among some horrible, terrible, heart breaking colleague, I find friendship....Cheer....

CNY and I am emoing
Chinese New Year is always a time of celebration. Time to gather with the love one. The whole 15 days is full of happiness and laughter.
This year my new year was much of a different and was consider a new twist compare to others days. Normally my first 2 days is reserve for my relatives while third and forth day was for my friends.
However, there is so many things happen this year that my new year was totally different. On the first day of Chinese New Year, my family left for vacation in Hong Kong, Mainland of China and Macau....and I was totally alone in the house with one of my aunty. Life is suck especially the first day I spent whole day MSN, Facebook and Gmail....and yeah, no one was active that day as most people are so busy that they have forgotten what is facebook and MSN.
Second day of my new year, I was invited to my friend house. One of my friend address this gathering as 'Ah Mao Beh' which mean Mat Salleh Horse.....This bunch of friends are basically banana and english educated person. As far as I am a banana, I am actualy not that close with them as I always find myself isolating from them. Maybe I was too shy with the level of my 'wisdom' compare to them. Well, the 4 hours meeting was full of 'singapore and australia lifestyle topic. No doubt we discuss a lot about investment, business and future which was quite positive, but somehow, I always have the downside with them. Looking at those rich kids make me feel that I am so left out....I am not saying they left me out....In deed i appreciate that they invite me over for the gathering.....Is just my own emo feeling that always conquer my life..
Second day also saw my close colleague storm my house for gambling session and playing firecrackers. Looking back on how I can find such close friends in workplace, make me think twice should I go ahead with my planned plan to leave the company soon....
Third day as normal, my secondary school gathering with house visiting. Time fly and it have been 7 years since we left the secondary school and everyone is now either big boss, bright future career man and woman and great student....Again, I rethink what I had achieve....I remind myself not to compare to much, because there is nothing to compare to...
Fourth day I went to office to symbolicly mark an auspicious working day hoping life would be smooth in the rabbit year. Went to gym and follow with few house visiting and meet university friends for seafood dinner.
As for my collegemate gathering, sadly this year gathering was cancelled as everyone was extremely busy with their work. Since I had book an apartment in Genting View Resort I headed to Genting with few friends as vacation....An today 15th February, a day after the valentine day, I have a small gathering with my ex firm colleague...It was a nice trip down to Malacca and Seremban...
With so many friends....question is why am I so emoing?
I don't know....Everytime I on the song on my computer, my emo feeling is back. Maybe the song I put is emo enough. For few days I am blasting Chinese New Year song in my room, few days back, I am again back to emo song.
I close my eye while listen to some song, I realise that I am so fortunate to have good food, good friend, good family, good life as compare to many others. However, if I change my mind to be negative, my work life haunted my mind, money haunted my mind.....my sin haunted me...
On the 9th day of Chinese New Year, I go for 'top up luck' prayers....It was meant for those who have clash with 'thai sui' and I was one of them. I knee down with josstick in front of huge 'kuan inn' and i have a sin in my heart not known by many people. For one hour I knee down for the whole process, I pray to Kuan Inn so I could be bless with a brighter path and hopefully I can be guide, lead from the darkness into a brighter part....
This year Chinese New Year is good...Knowing the whole year path will be bumpy, I have aim and work toward my plan. Finger cross that all my plan will success....I hope my prayer been heard....I hope all my wishes in low sang came true....I hope what I hope will never remain as hope but a reality...
Yes, I am emoing....but I know, a few hours after the emo session, I will find new light, new beginning and new hope....
I close my eye...hope a new chapter of my life will soon become reality....

Emotional unstable
AUDITOR = All U Do Is Think Of Resigning....
Well, the feeling had emerge again since 4 months ago...
When the water is calm, dont ever think that there is no crocodile inside the water. Life is so unpredictable. When time are good, work happilly, every second pray for ESOS price to go up, working so hard to achieve our KPI...everything will seem good....Sometime is just too good to believe...
Yeah, one small dirty paint can destroy the whole drawing...That is what happen few months back. Despite attempt to bring back things to normal, nothing seem to improve....Everyday start work with draggy body hoping the lunch hour appear soon....After lunch, pray hard that the clock strike 6pm to go back home.....That was one of the worst feeling ever...
Just dont like the feeling.....yeah.....i been backstab and i feel like dying.....but because of ESOS........i gonna be patience....just for another few months....God, bless me with strength to move on....

2011 Resolution
Is another new year and is time for new resolution...
Well, gonna make it simple and easy this year....
1. Time to back to school....Try my very best to improve English...
2. Take more time to improve myself (maybe into more languages and self studies)
3. Earn better $$$$$
4. Get healthier....More muscle, lose fat...
5. Run for at least 5 run competitions....Target to run for more than 14km this year..
6. Keep posting on my 2 beloved blog.
7. To have great Bali and Hong Kong trip...
8. Sell my ESOS at good price....finger crossed, RM 7.00
9. Less Drama in office.....Less stress.....
10. Invested in some investment...
11. Continue charity work
