Genting Trip

It have been long time since my last visit to Genting Highland. I still remember how I always succeed to enter the casino without being catch although I was still underage at that moment...Of course thanks to my "apek" look lo...

Anyway, on Saturday, my friend invite me to Genting to relax and gathering after 6 months we had not meet...It was mean to be a trip to relax and gather so we have no plan for theme park nor any other entertainment...Bored ya...of course not because we are at the "city of Entertainment". The big reason why we have always been looking forward to highland trip is due to its clean, cold, and refreshing air.

Our stay at Genting was simple, a 3 rooms apartment at Ria Apartment and guess what, the total of people sleeping inside the apartment is 23...and the best part of all, we have steamboat party for 23 person on Saturday night inside the apartment...haha.. Besides that, I saw my "son" Ms Gwee" and his girl friend. Oh my god, his girl friend is so tall and even taller than me...

So beside steamboat and lot of chit chatting, our main entertainment is the casino of course...Since I can walk in and out of the casino like no body business starting April, I took my first opportunity by putting bet on some games...It was miserable to lost money, making me so angry and sad...

At night after steamboat, we decided to revenge by betting at the casino again. This time, I found some games that I know and ya I won some...It was till the dealer had done some mistake causing some disturbance on our table. The casino management had to see CCTV to determine what happen and as expected some player try to get "cheap" way to cheat the casino...but no body can deny CCTV evidence. Because the whole process of viewing CCTV would take long time and I am no allow to leave the casino since I also got some dispute due to the dealer fault, I continue to play and luck was certainly at my side. I have get back my capital and I decided to leave the table. It was then another dispute come in as the 2 Indian is fighting over their own bet. Again the management was called to determine whose bet was it. Actually both player are friend and I believe they are trying to cheat the dealer since it was late night. This cause me to be at the table for another half hour due to the idiot dispute. However, the "choi san" is standing beside me so I keep on win and win...wahaha...At the end I get some "free earning" by just sitting and guessing...Though it was not much but I am happy...

Seem like Genting is starting its CSR activity by having a Responsibility Gambling program to help people who is addicted to gamble to avoid from this addiction. Of course, Genting would still want to earn money in gaming industry and yet lot of people is blaming Genting as "killer" of family and maybe the country. However be alert that they open the business but they have no intention or in any way force us to gamble. Is because our addiction we keep on gamble and gamble...Of course for me, I am playing for fun. I thought I just wanna take small capital and have some fun...Never expected got luck behind me....

Telling you the truth, my hand is shaking everytime I put on the bet thought at some point I am 100% I gonna win. Is because all single cent I gamble is from hardwork and sweat of our work. I don't understand got people gamble few thousand in 1 betting and when they lose, they feel like nothing happen. Maybe they are too rich...But for me, an risk adverse person, I am certainly scare of gamble. If I stay in casino any longer, I believe I already got serious heart attack..hehe

To all player or gamble, be alert and don't be addicted. Be responsible on every betting...Don't regret when it was too late. Gamble are suppose to be fun and not suffering. Bet small and enjoy...Always remember that there is still wonderful world ahead and don't spoil your life with gambling.

Why Crowd?

My firm had been promoting aggressively to inform the whole world that our firm are as good as the others. The significant marketing theme they use is "why crowd"....yeah, why crowd in one place when there is so many other place that we can work for?...

Recently my firm had been awarded the Platinum Status for employer by ACCA. Our big boss had also announce in the newspaper that we are the Number 4 company in audit as well as consulting in Malaysia.

I am quite surprise that some people also decided to join our firm by just reading my post in my blog. Never do i know that a stranger will read my blog, add me in msn and become my friend and few days to come he will be my colleague..."Welcome aboard"

I have been hearing what my boss had been saying for almost a year and he share the same mission and vision for years. Whether his vision will make the firm a level ahead or not, remain unknown...We do cross finger hoping the best.

If you are wondering what firm I am talking about, I guess you are first time reader of my blog...haha..My firm is BDO Binder and if you scroll down more you will see it appear lot of time...haha...

Anyway, I do not say that other firm are not good...They are equally good and some are even better. As for me, I settle down for the time being and be the same as the gold fish above, taking risk in a bigger aquarium...

Anything, Whatever is here...

If you ever remember my post during my Singapore tour, I did mention about a drink call Anything and Whatever..

The drink is a revolution of new age beverage. The flavor of the beverage is very normal but what make it interesting is you won't know the flavor until you open the can and drink it.

If you are undecided of what to drink, you will normally said "whatever la" or "anything". These 2 special word had been the idea of the special drink.

And guess what! These drink is now arrive in Malaysia...Fantastic...
So if u are undecided of what to drink...try anything and whatever

**Anything is for carbonated drink
**Whatever is for juices and seasonal drink

If u didn't click on the advertisement above, please click....it is extremely funny...haha

The Effect

It seems to be a normal day today as I walk out to the LRt station. As expected the road is not as busy as before. Prediction that LRT would be full today was correct and I am glad that I went to the LRT station 15 minutes earlier than the normal day.
The effect of petrol hike had really given a huge impact for normal people. Almost every single man in the street feels the effect. The LRT service had been bad these few days especially the new petrol hike and subsidy been withdraw. This few days itself, the LRT had not come according to schedule especially the morning time. Air-condition is not been repair and people are squeezing like a sardine almost every morning and evening.

Today morning was really a chaos. Though I arrive 15 minutes earlier than normal time, I was shock with how pack was the station. The platform itself is not enough to fill in the sea of human. Is like a tsunami of human in LRT station. Pregnant woman, senior citizen and some school children and millions of working adult are all busy waiting for the LRT. It was so pack that I wanted to take out my phone to take photo is not convenience. I was stuck immediately after I pass the ticket counter.
First train come and I already know I will never go into the train. After 12 minutes the second train comes and all people are squeezing themselves into the train. It is hardly to see anyone can even go into the train already. Third train come and I thought it was my turn go get in since I was in front of the door. Once the door open, I was shock….It is so cramp that I don’t think anyone from my station is able to go in. One pregnant lady looks so sad so some of the people try to open so space so she can squeeze in.

Forth train arrives with even worst scenario. I don’t think I can even put in one of my leg in. It was so full that people inside is sweating so badly. Fifth train arrives after 1 hour of waiting and it was already 8.26am. It was impossible for me to arrive on time.

Arrive at office is another shocking. The sultan ismail road which use to be jammed up seem quite smooth. The traffic police can easily depend on the traffic light. The price hike in petrol had impact on everyone. Productivity in workplace drop as people arrives late to workplace. People start their early day by sweating and get frustrated with public transport and by the time they are in office, they are so tense up that it already affected the productivity in the office. Crime rate will sooner increase and people will start to suffer as people are getting poorer and purchasing power reduces.

Enjoying the suffering

It had been 5 months since I start working in BDO and all those suffering and handwork is always paid off when you see audit report one by one being signed by the partner and handed to the client.

Although life as auditor might not be as good as other commercial job, but what I had learn is much valuable and can’t been found in other job.

Days ago, we just bid farewell to group of UPM trainees. To Mun Kit, my colleague, who use to be my temporarily roommate during audit in Klang, I hope all the best in your studies and hope we can work together after you graduate.

Life is fun though it was suffering in audit job. Do believe me… Don’t believe me? What job will send you to count shit? Haha…sorry, I mean fertilizer. Not bad le….I have to walk so careful as if I accidentally drop, my left is urea and my right is full of compost…haha…They give u MAS flight for counting shit wo...Good ma...

How about working in hospital and been given a doctor room. For one whole week, the canteen aunty call me Dr Lim…haha…funny right…

What job can ask you go count the number of car park in a shopping complex? Audit does…haha..

Audit is full of training and even in training, we are so happy together...Here what we look like during training...

Life in audit is suffering…I do admit, it was suck at some point of time, but life is so meaningful with great job scope, great senior, great client, great management and great colleague…

Ya…and this is the picture that causes me to write so many rubbishes in this post. Work during Labour Day but end up eating seafood at Teluk Gong. Sadly 2 of our senior are not there because they are busy with their work…Had been trying to snap the senior photo but fail…haha…

In the mist of working, some weekend i rest my mind, walking in the park, gather with friends from varies audit firm and chat about our life....and sometime if really so stress up, I laze myself, off my phone and see the pool for hours...

Life tough....life suck....but life go on....I does enjoy all the suffering...

Weird Day

Is a weird day

Everyone rush back after office hour like nobody business

Is a weird day

The food stall is so empty thought it was dinner time

Is a weird day

The radio said everywhere is jam up

Is a weird day

People are saying let go and queue up before midnight

Is a weird day

Everyone look so sad now

Is not a weird day because tomorrow morning or today midnight, the petrol will increase by 78 cents and diesel increases RM 1...Life will be tougher now...Must think before drive...i mean think twice...haha

Here is a newspaper cutout from TheStar.com....
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Wednesday announced price hikes for petrol, diesel and electricity.

He said the new price for petrol is RM2.70 a litre, effective midnight tonight. The price goes up by 78sen from the current RM1.92, a hike of 40%.

Abdullah also announced that the price of diesel would be increased by RM1 from RM1.58 to RM2.58.

He also said that Tenaga Nasional Bhd would be raising electricity rates by 18% for homes and 26% for business users.

The announcements are part of the new fuel subsidy plan.

Abdullah also announced a RM625 annual cash rebate per vehicle, for owners of private vehicles with engine capacities of up to 2,000cc, as well as pickup trucks and jeeps with engine capacities of up to 2,500cc.

Owners of private motorcycles with engine capacities of up to 250cc will receive RM150.

Payment will be made via Money Order upon renewal of road tax, from July 1.

For owners of private vehicles with engine capacities exceeding 2000cc, road tax will be reduced by RM200.

Owners of private motorcycles with engine capacities above 250 cc will get RM50 reduction in road tax.

So everything increase and salary no increase...it was time for us to rethink what can we do to survive....There must be a way.... haha...today really remind me of election where there is poster saying after undi, semua naik...hahaha....

Hope with lesser subsidy in petrol, our government will use it for better infrastructure or make citizen life easier....If economic is not stable, citizen get frustrated, higher rate of criminal, more people face stress and this will again create more problem than what we are now trying to solve...

Hell, I am a busy man….

Weekend is always the best time to rest and enjoy and yeah, my weekend was busy and enjoying. Last Friday I ended my job around 7.30 after helping the manager to settle her stuff, which of course my due to my willingness so I end up staying a bit late…To reduce my boring night, I decided to call Ken Yap for yum cha. Oh yeah, he was in Damansara Utama and was now in Deloitte and it had been 2 weeks continuously we have been meeting up and discuss about our career in audit industry. Of course we got accompany from KPMG, Mr Hon fei… However, I forgot that I have to pass my angpow to my friends as I was unable to went to my friend wedding so off I go to my friends house and FFK Ken Yap…Of course he was angry with me, I believe…haha

So Friday night, I end up in Sg Long and I use the most controversial road of all, the new access road at Bandar Mahkota Cheras. It was scary as the whole road is full of huge barricade and if I am not careful, I might just accidentally bang it…

Saturday was a nice day for me as I am going off to Chuping and biggest of all, I m going to take a flight….Ok Ok…I sound ‘sua ku’ and I admit that… To catch an early flight I have to wake up as early as 4.30am and ready myself at KL sentral at 6am. Upon checking in me and MC took the ERL to KLIA. The journey was quite fun but is tiring for both of us as we have not enough sleep for days…

Accompany by MC, was one greatest gift as he is funny and quite entertaining. Thanks to the client, we no need to drive 6 hours to Perlis. So here is MAS airplane. The journey includes meal and what I get was this, a packet of salted peanut and one cup of orange juice….

And the whole Saturday, what I saw is SHIT, SHIT and SHIT….We are doing a stock take in organic fertilizer factory. So when you hear organic, it would be for sure make from natural resources such as chicken shit, cow dung, dead fish, pig urea and so on….Fortunately is not. Although the raw material is urea, compos, and smelly palette, I still can count the stock in 30 minutes…Haha…fast right…Basically, the factory is kinda smelly as there is so many compos and urea sink. There is even a lake full of animal waste. So I have a bad time wondering around at the factory after my stock take…I was hoping to have a nice bath tub so I can clean myself after the stock take but sadly I have to wait until midnight as my flight back was at 9.30pm…I believe if I bath in the bath tub, all the remaining water can be use to water my mom’s orchid and I believe it will flower the next day. What I know, after the stock take, I can throw away my sport shoe, jeans and socks….Luckily I didn’t wear expensive shoe like MC does…

My flight back was a long journey as the airplane needs to make a lot of turning before landing. Maybe it was peak period at that moment in airport so the plane have to take turn to come down. Believe it or not, I saw the KLIA 15 minutes before the airplane landing and the plan had make almost a full circle on top of KLIA…

After some shopping at KLIA, we take the ERL back to KL sentral and guess what, as expected, my car park fees was RM 28.20…Just because I paid at 12.01, I have to pay for extra 20 cent…Idiot…

Due to my stupidness, I make a wrong turning at Kl sentral and I end up in Bukit Bintang area so I was stuck in the jam and arrive home at 1.40pm….Take my bath and went to sleep…

Sunday I relax with family and went to water puppet show at Taman Botanic Klang. My aunt gave us free ticket so I just went there and see. It was not anything great but it was entertaining.

That is how my whole weekend…Next week I will be back Klang to help my mom to make rice dumpling…Is time for rice dumpling again…yeah…

I am such a busy man….

My First

OMG....call me sua ku but i hate to admit that i never take a flight before...

I expect to take flight on October for Phuket Island, manatau company send me go Perlis do stock take so end up my first flight gonna be a flight from Malaysia Airline, this saturday morning, damm early 7.30am....and it wasn't to any vacation place but Alor Star...

Haiz....

A town that I call “jail”, a country that I call “bank”

Bandar Mahkota Cheras had been a town debated over and over again. It was a fabulous town, calm and perfect for family living. However, the access road was terrible and worst. It became even worst because it does not just affect Mahkota Cheras residents but it had causes other nearby township to suffer.

Every morning, the car is queuing like a dragon starting from Batu 11 toll up to Bandar Sg Long or Mahkota Cheras itself. The weird things is that this incident didn’t happen if Mahkota Cheras wasn’t there at the first place as the huge township have no access road and have to use other township road to get to the town.

The question is why the developer didn’t build a road to connect to the highway? The answer is they did…Then the next question is why don’t the residents use the road instead? The answer is because the road had never been open. The next question popped up would be “How stupid is the developer to build but not open the road? Build to pai sui ar?” Ok…not for pai sui or decoration but because the greedy highway don’t allow the developer to open the road…..SO…..

So…this is what I call, got home, nice home but no different as a jail….No way out, no way in…so difficult…

Yet life is also difficult with more and more things expected to increase. Early this year when the election fever is burning hot, everyone expecting after election, price of things will start to increase...and yeah baby, it was now the time…Subsidy for a lot of things had been pulled out. Now rice had increase and almost all place where we eat, the price is no longer the same. Eggs, flour and other essential groceries is expected to increase in near future. With subsidy withdraw from RapidKL, LRT and buses fare is presume to be increase by next few weeks. Petrol will surely increase by this year as the government are now re-examine the fuel subsidy policy. One things is everything increase and yet one essential things that never increase was our salary, our bank deposit interest and other source of income…So where did all those money when to if we the rakyat getting poorer and poorer, the businessmen complaint that they never earn much, the government not enough fund…So where the money flow to?? Foreign country or official that been bribe till the stomach is full? We dunno…But thanks to someone we gonna get free water soon in Selangor….so at least can reduce burden for the poor…Water is such a essential for us….Right now before we take dishes at mix rice stall, we also need to think twice or maybe triple time before take those dishes as it will cost higher than you have expected…I wonder how come they still put there “economy rice” in their stall when the price wasn’t that economical also…haiz…

So….this is what I call a country which is rich and yet we don’t know where is the money gone…A country that I call bank…

One Chant, One Chance

Ok...for people like me who didn't eat beef like me, you can totally ignore this post. Is McDonald's One Chant, One Chance!

2 All Beef Patties

Special Sause, Lettuce,

Cheese, Pickles, Onions

On a Sesame Seed Bun

If you can chant this within 4 seconds, you can actually get a Big Mac for Free....One Chant, One Chance...

Ok...why do i blog this...I would said because last week when I wanted to eat McD, the queue was so long, all because there is few people joining this competition...If they win, of course the queue won't be so long and they most probably happily walk away with a Big Mac, but what happen is someone is actually asking her boyfriend to camcording the whole scenario and she don't even win...At last, she was like begging the manager in charge for another chance....Haha, as expected, the manager said "ONE CHANT, ONE CHANCE!!!"....So she happily or maybe sadly order her own Big Mac and ask her boyfriend to try his luck....Hahaha...Sadly, no beef for me...If got McNugget Chant I would be the first to be there...wahaha

Sea, Sand, Sunshine.

Looking at Kenny Sia Blog post about his vacation to Tioman brings back my memory of a year ago when I first visited Tioman. I still remember where all my classmate are rushing and squeezing themselves to Redang island, me and bunch of friend (actually only 4 of us) headed to Tioman Island. It was a nice and beautiful island and full of coral and fishes. Of course, not all diving and snorkeling spot are beautiful but at least I saw magnificent coral which was better than what photographed by Kenny Sia. It really remind me of how relax and fun I am during the short visit.

Now, with hectic work lifestyle, I always dream of a long holiday at the beach side and relax. October seem to be still long way to go...I had purchase flight ticket to Phuket in middle of October. I really hope I can have a real relaxation, enjoying spa, close my eye and listen to the sound of wave and feel the breeze from the sea. Some may said the sound of wave was horrible, like the sound of tsunami, but for me who never experience tsunami, I personnally feel it was relaxing.

Able to step into an island which was once a place almost destroy by mother nature and seen lot of lost of life, I believe I will be more appreciate what I see. My journey to Phuket is so near yet so far. Hope by the time I departing to the island, I still can have the holiday mood. I really want a holiday now!

Phuket, I will be there soooooooooooner.....Wait for me ya....and for now, dream remain dream and reality was in front of me...Work Work Work....Stop dreaming...Dream when October is here....

Happy Mother's Day

Every single human life starts from the mother's body. 9 months inside the mom body, our mom give us warm protection and nutrient we need. When it was time for us to come out and see the world, our mom, undergo pain just to deliver us out. When we were small, mom was the one who take care of us, prepare breakfast, cook lunch and dinner and ensure we have the perfect life. AND YET, what we as the son and daughter can do is to repay back them back by becoming a good child and take care of them when they were old. Sadly, one mother can nurture 10 children but 10 children unable to take care of 1 mom when it was time to repay back.

Today is Mother’s Day. However the call for duty had made both me and my mom separated. I could not celebrate this meaningful day by accompany her.

I hope my mom will always stay healthy, always find happiness and have less worries.
Mom, you are one in a million. You are the greatest woman to me. No one can ever replace you in my heart.

Happy Mother’s Day.

Happy Mother's Day to all great mother in the world....

So many things happen nowdays among bloggers making us more careful about our posting. Who knows we might get behind those steel bars, right?

Nah, my blog will be my personal area to shout my opinion and release stress..

So everyone, Happy Blogging...we should declare a day call blogger day since so many people have join the blogger world....Welcome Mahathir to Blog World!!! haha...

When Cheap Ticket Meet Disaster

Today we saw 2 amazing news; one good and another bad.

The good news is Malaysia Airline System had announced free ticket for 1 million seats starting today. It was way to late for MAS to tackle with low fare airline competition which had already been monopolize by AirAsia. However is better to be late than never. But what really shocks me was the advertisement where people will think that it was AirAsia advertisement. One of my friends had gone to AirAsia website instead of MAS after reading the news…So it is a good advertisement or does it mean to really harm AirAisa reputation? It is for you to judge it. I think MAS had just declare war with AirAsia. AirAsia respond with counter attack with another advertisement by calculating the difference of competitor "0" fare with their affortable fare. I believe AirAsia still manage to keep it cheaper... Anyway it remind me of how those 3 communication provider, Digi, Maxis and Celcom had announce jihad war by reducing price almost everyday...Hahaha..whatever it is, it will surely benefit the customer...

2nd news would be the disaster in Myanmar. Another huge shocking nature disaster in South East Asia and this time proven that our region is no longer free of disaster as what we study in Geography in secondary school. Malaysia must prepare for this disaster and what more important is to prevent all this disaster. We know that the weird disaster is causes by global warming and also careless creature on earth. Since we had been so careless and neglect the Mother Nature, let us try our best to make the earth a better place to stay. We do not hope that the world coming to the end so soon anyway….

OK. Today is Tuesday which mean I can work in the hotel room accompany with Desperate Housewife. Thought I am not the die hard fans of Desperate Housewife, but because I forgot to bring my Prison Break so no choice la. Anyway, Desperate Housewife episode always twist here and there and end with very meaningful message. Today episode end with a message that really can wakes us up from the Myanmar Disaster. “We become stronger from events that didn’t kill us”. No one can hide the sorrow for those life kills on this unpredicted disaster. So hand our help if we can and hopefully those victim, they grow stronger after the deadly accident that didn’t manage to kills them.

Keep Bleeding

My eye is sore, staring at laptop for more than 10 hours. My stomach is numb with same food every day. My mind is full with work matter. My car had passed the same road for months and what worst, I had now stayed in hotel more than my own room.
Since end of March till date, I had stay in hotel for 27 days. Staying in hotel mean nothing great to me now and it make me feels so homeless. Working until late at night make life more meaningless and tiring.

Now I am rushing against time, hoping life can be better after this. I can’t deny that I already lost interest and lost hope in this job. Facing terrible client, back stabbing ******, unhealthy working environment and tight schedule had causes this assignment turning from worst to f***king damn stressful. As expected, there is people resigning during this assignment and of course more and more people are now turning their head off about this assignment. I personally would like to pull out as soon as possible.

Now my life is like: Keep bleeding, keep keep bleeding in work

Frankly I am good in hiding my emotion and if I angry I will show it out no matter it was to my senior to anyone who make me angry. It had been years that I had not angry but this time around throwing files and slamming the door seems to be my choice of expressing my anger.
